Chapter One: Return
East 42'nd District||Rukongai
"Ehhh, rukia, refresh my memory, why must we visit rukongai every other week, its not like it changes any." Renji complained.
"This place is where i grew up before i became a kuchiki, its nostalgic to me renji, you grew up here too, so why don't you like revisiting old memories?" rukia asked leaning in with her ear.
"My life in rukongai wasnt a verry pleasant one, i dont wish to relive my unhappy day's." renji replied promptly.
A mist began to roll in from the east as the two began to descend back towards the senkai gate.
"Rukia, i dont remember it ever misting like this when we came here do you?" renji asked, still moving, not concerned.
Rukia stoped and looked around, the mist wasnt just creeping in like mist should, rather, it was coming from all sides of rukongai as if to give the immage of a smoke swallowing the entire country side.
"No i dont recall it, its kinda eary isnt it?" rukia asked picking back up the pace beside renji.
"Ya but its probably nothing, we need to get back soon, the sun is going down, we dont have much time before they close us out." renji said with a grin.
"Oh man i lost track of time, lets hurry."she said hurrying her pace.
As the two jogged into the gates blurs began to emit in the outline of bodies. A man with long white hair appeared from the mist first.
He surveyed the land with intense eyes, as he looked back another body appeared, that of a small hunched over male, who came out singing, " We made it, we made it, we made it.....", the white man hushed him quickly waiting for the others to appear, a lean, tall women with long black hair appeared next to a man with short, spiky, red hair.
The man with long white hair stepped forward, turning to face the others.
"It has been many years since we sat out on our journey to the king, we got lost along the way, i am pleased you 3 stayed when the rest of our squad fled, once we had acclaimed we , were in fact, lost." the man said, and paused, picking up he said." Now we are home, let us come back to our home, let us return to seireitei and took our places amongst our squad, the man turned on his heal and motioned for the three to follow as he walked t'ward the senkai gate.
