Well… some people let their dogs sleep in their bed, Ruki reasoned. It wasn't that big a deal. Though their dogs didn't talk.

Renamon's warmth engulfed her. She had thrown the sheets off earlier in the night, it being a warm summer day in the first place. Even with the heat, she kind of… wanted to put her arms around the fox digimon. But no, she kept her arms to herself.

Some three hours had passed since they had gone to bed together, for the first time, and she couldn't stop thinking. She really appreciated and cared for Renamon, even… well, she could say it in her head, at least… …loved her. And people that loved each other often slept together. But did digimon count as people? They did talk…so…

She sighed. The same thoughts all night long, with no end in sight. She glanced Renamon's way. The digimon was deeply asleep, the moonlight streaming in from the window coating her fur in its ghostly sheen. So beautiful… she felt herself blushing. Their legs were touching, and she tried to keep that contact as she shifted onto her side to watch her.

She was sleeping…rather deeply. She reached out and put her arm around her waist. She could just pretend to be asleep if Renamon noticed. People did this sort of thing all the time in their sleep, she was sure. She breathed deeply and contentedly against the soft, bushy white hair against her cheek, and slowly drifted off, thoughts of whether the things they did were right or wrong drifting away as she finally got what she wanted.
