"What is it?"

"You have something on your face," she says coyly.

"Help me get it off?" he asks, face splitting into a raucous grin.

Sakura knows she shouldn't, but she's just declared war with her eyes and he's just accepted the invitation with his lips.

Neji pulls her over, lips meeting her own at an alarming pace, crushing against her with too much pressure.

She knows nothing can come of this but bruising and responds half-heartedly anyway, always playing with his nerves.

Her taunting is not received well and almost instantly she feels him scowl against her mouth, can almost imagine the frown playing at his brow, and vaguely senses that something terrible is to come.

She dismisses the last thought and decides it is amusing that she can affect him like this.

He grabs her and kisses harder without a second thought, lips sealed together unbrokenly.

His fingers thread their way into her hair, and he presses his body more urgently to her own.

He is weaving an intoxicating spell. She can hardly think anymore, let alone breathe.

If anything, he's toying with her now, having the tables suddenly turned.

There is a fight for dominance, and Sakura realizes soon it is a lost battle.

His lips recede gently, brushing slowly, agonizingly slow, and she feels herself lean forward, although grudgingly, wanting more of the insatiable friction from his lips.

She wishes for a moment that her resolve was stronger, but they are so inviting, so insisting that she come and play.

He appraises her silently, silvery eyes laughing as he fights a smile.

There is a split in his lip and she wonders how long it will take to heal.

"Is it off yet?" he asks, and she can hear the dare in his voice.

She mutters for him to shut up and reaches out for his neck again.

The moment she tugs him back their lips meet in a clash of things.

It is like electricity and she can feel the shock run throughout her body.

She feels the beginnings of a smirk creep across his mouth and sighs inwardly.

This is it, Neji had always known from the start. He had won—again.
