-The Sky Cried-
Luna wasn't acting like herself the day Neville saw her lying in the grass. The insane, wacky clothes were there, but she seemed like she was a thousand miles away.
Neville moved closer to her and sat by her side. He could see unshed tears in her slivery-blue eyes, and see shed tears on her cheeks and nose.
The crying girl turned her head for a moment and saw him sitting there. "Oh, hello Neville." Luna said with her eyes still staring at the cloud-filled sky.
He was almost afraid to ask, but Neville did anyway. "Luna, why are you crying?"
Luna closed her large orbs before explaining, "Five years ago today, I lost my Mum. My Mum was quite the brilliant witch, but she did like to experiment, and one day, one of her experiments went badly wrong. I was nine when I saw the whole thing."
Luna sat up, but kept her eyes shut as tears began to flood out. She rested her head on Neville's shoulder, sending an electric shock through his body. And then with much hesitation, Neville put his arm around the sobbing girl.
"Y-You must really miss her." Neville stated and waited for the blonde's reaction.
"Yes, I do." Luna opened her wet eyes, but kept her small face down. "But, I've still got Dad." She smiled a bit before saying, "And besides, people we love have ways of coming back to us in the end."
Luna's eyes filled with tears again just as rain began to fall from the sky.
"I guess the sky is sad too, because it's crying." Luna stated.
"Come on. Let's get inside before it gets worse." Neville said while pulling up Luna, but she wouldn't move.
Neville knew he couldn't just leave her alone like this, while she was upset and crying. So, he stayed and let the Luna and the sky cry until they were happy again.
So…what did you think? I'm proud of myself for this one because I wrote it in about 10 minutes before church started, and then finished afterwards. It was suppose to sound that even Loony Lovegood cries. Review people!
