Theo was good at keeping secrets.

There was Marie Jones in 2nd grade who told him that she took the last candy bar in the house. There was also John told him that he threw rocks at Mr. Lorie's windows. Mrs. Cook's secret ingredient in her mac and cheese was mustard. Devon's dog show him where he kept all of the dolls' heads that he ripped off. Casey was told him that Jessica was his favorite sister…even if he loved all of them. Lily told him once that she drink the last of the milk and not Dom. Fran has a strange theory about Twilight that he never wanted to hear again. Dom's favorite place wasn't Rome or some foreign place. No, his favorite place was New Orleans.

And his brother…. Luan always told him his secrets because they were twins. It was easier. It was safer. There was always a secret to tell. Little or big…important or tiny….they seemed to tell him.

It wasn't a matter of keeping a secret. No, some secrets needed to be told like John's little rock throwing incident. It is matter which ones are worth keeping like Mrs. Cook's secret ingredient.

…Like being a power ranger. Like being a Pa Zhaq.

There is always a cost to keeping such secrets. There is mistrust, broken friendships, angry, and broken families. They make you look like you are the one at fault and blame.

On the other side, they give a feeling of safety and protection.

They were secrets worth keeping.

Perhaps, that is why he kept his brother a secret.

He was angry and bitter. It hurts talking about him. When the others talked about the family, he felt bitter because he couldn't talk to his own. He didn't want to put his parents or his friends in the middle.

It was safe.

It was a secret that he could forget from time to time.

Until Lu just decided to call and then show up, it rocked his world.

His brother had the habit of doing that. Weather it was crazy stunts or his habit of burning down the kitchen, his brother was always almost five second away from giving him a heart attack. Of course, he stood there with his stupid grin and hugged him.

Damn, Lu.

He couldn't just come in his life and do this.

Just being him. By the spirits, he missed him.

That lasted for about four seconds because he has forgotten how annoying his brother could be.

His brother could push his buttons like no else could even after all of these years.

They had their secrets between them. Not like before when they shared everything. No, he had a big one. Of course, Luan walked right into it because he just would. It would be his luck that his brother would find out he was a power ranger.

Actually, he was surprised on how well he took it. Him being a power ranger.

Of course, his brother had his own secret to share.

When he wrapped his arms around him to tell him good-bye, his brother leaned over and whispered into his ear.

"I got a secret to tell, bro. Do you think that you could keep this one?" his brother said softly.

As his brother whispered into his ear, he knew that he would be keeping another one.
