This is another short drabble of mine, dedicated to my dear Kitten and based on the idea by Ducky.

I don't own the boys. I don't even like this pairing that much.

But still, feedback is much welcome.

Through His Eyes

---

Ryan would never call his dependence on Jason Cross a "relationship".

Just because a relationship itself, in a mental or physical way, reminded him of such exact form of closeness or at least some kind of intimacy.

Maybe, between him and Jason was something similar to "closeness".

Ryan liked the word "dependence" to describe himself and Jason, because with Jason it didn't sound off-hand or indifferently like it sometimes did with other people in other situations.

Because Jason and he were really dependant on each other.

In some weird way, though.

They never held hands or touched.

They never kissed.

They never talked about sex.

They actually talked to each other very rarely.

Sometimes they just met, when Ryan was visiting Jason at his place and they were sitting in his garden, on the swing.

Jason never talked much.

During those times together, from time to time Jason just said something like "I adore the silence" or "How quick do you think is the grass growing?" or "I wonder, if I was sleeping outside the whole night, how many falling stars would I count?".

Sometimes he just answered for himself, "Probably as much as I am able to count to," and then he smiled in a sweet naive way. He never mentioned how high can he count, and Ryan never asked.

During those meetings Ryan hardly ever said a word.

Sometimes he muttered something, sometimes he just smiled, sometimes he gently brushed the hair off Jason's face.

He never thought this relationship would go to a higher level. To something more committed.

But Ryan didn't complain. He liked it the way it was.

And he felt happy to appreciate the world through Jason's eyes.
