To Be or Not To Be

I do not own Prince of Tennis or Sir William Shakespeare's great works and quotes.

I've been torn up to pieces…

Ever since that day, all the Seigaku regulars returned from that tournament, we caught the sight of a young freshman standing before the fences nearby our Tennis courts. He wore a red and white sweat shirt and a Fila cap hanging around his head, he stared at us curiously, with a smirk in his freshmen face.

The ranking tournament then came face to face for the both of us.

I glared at him. He smirked at me. My fighting spirit aroused inside of me, anyone can't stop it.

I can't let myself lose to this freshman!

Mine honor is my life; both grow in one; take honor from me and my life is done.

We both fought, I used my snake shots to burn all his stamina up. As a counter puncher or known as a defensive baseliner, I must hit all his shots back, to upset the enemy and mess up all his moves.

But then I noticed, he's making me return all his shots near the baseline.

We continued the fight, I must not give up!

My knees then shook, I was feeling tired?

The freshman was making me retrieve all the balls near the baseline by making my knees bend. He was taking my stamina away..

Without me noticing it, he was using my play style to destroy me.

The little foolery that wise men have makes a great show.

A taste of my own medicine. Before I even knew it, I lost, to a mere freshman…

Six games to four! Won by Ryoma Echizen!

I….lost….

And I must do something.

Action is eloquence.

Ever since that day, I swore myself never to give up! I must push myself harder! It's now or never! I'll train.. and face him once more, I shall gain unbeatable stamina!

Ever since that day, I worked myself till my body drops in exhaustion. With the help of a certain senpai, I once again found myself climbing slowly to the top. Mastering boomerang snake, short snake,…tornado snake, piece by piece, rebuilding myself.

I've once again fought. I won, I lost, but never gave up, hoped and believed.

I've become stronger…

It's now time…..to fight, Ryoma Echizen once more….

I'll never give up!

Glory is like a circle in the water,
Which never ceased to enlarge itself,
Till by broad spreading it disperses to naught.
