The gentle sunrays peeked through my curtains and kissed me awake. I sat up and smiled lazily. Edward was still sleeping beside me, his perfectly sculpted chest rising and falling with each passing breath. A secret smile graces his perfect lips, and his bronze hair was streaked with gold from the rising sun. He was absolutely irresistible. I leaned in to give him a small kiss, when his shining emerald- like eyes flashed open. He smirked, having caught me watch him sleep. Usually, I would have blushed at a time like this, but my surprise masked my embarrassment. I was suddenly unpleasantly reminded of the times before these ones, when Edward and I couldn't be together…..
EPOV
I woke from my Bella filled dreams when I felt a slight breathing on my face. Opening my eyes, I found that is was Bella, she had been watching me while I was sleeping! I was exultant with joy, for mostly it is I who watch her sleep, and given the circumstances I was flattered. Reaching up, I kissed her on her plump lips, how soft and tender they were. I couldn't believe she was here, and she was all mine. This angel, she had chosen me above all else. But I still have memories of darker times when we had to keep our love a secret…..
