Now, let's not get the wrong impression here. I love Blue's Clues. I'm a mom and my little girl has learned so much from the show...but I can only take so much.

As I do recall...I watched that movie at least once a day for the last several months. I'm sure I know it off by heart now.

Not that I see anything wrong with the movie, just a funny thought crossed my mind while watching it for the 90th time, just a one shot.

Here it is...

Moving Swiftly Along

Steve looked down at his little blue dog. "So Blue, who do you want to sing with you in the musical?"

"Bow-bow-bow bow-bow-BOW!" She said cheerfully and laid a big blue paw print on the right hand side of the screen.

He paused and looked at the offending blue mark. "No, no, no. I don't think so. We really don't have time today." He promptly reached to the top of the paw print and rolled it off screen and into a long holow tube. "We're all in the house right now; just point to who you want to sing with you." He reasoned with his pet.

"Bow-booow." Using her ears, Blue pointed to rolled up paw print in Steve's hand. "Bow."

"I said no!" He yelled and clipped Blue between the ears with the deformed paw print. "Who do you want to sing with?"

"Bow-BOW!" She said in fear as she pointed to Side Table Drawer.

"There, now was that so hard?" He crumpled the offending paw print and tossed it in the garbage as he walked off screen. "That just saved us an hour of nonsence. Hey Side Table, you're singing with Blue in the show." Steve's voice echoed from the other room.

"Really?" Side table said with glee. "Yea! I just wanna' sing!" She sing songed.

"Great, let's get this show on the road." Steve said.

Not to mention, Perry wouldn't have been so distraught if he found out that it was a music show right from the start. They just had no time to tell him because Steve was looking fo clues.

AND! Poor Side Table wouldn't have had to go through all that mental anguish either and could have just had the part right from the beginning. ALSO! She would have known not to step on Steve's line at the end of his song either. That part bugs me every time I see it! GAH!

...but yeah...I think I thougt too much about this...tell me what you think just the same.
