I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA OR TEEN TITANS
"You do realize what will happen if you disobey me again, correct, Hakudoshi?"
Hakudoshi raised his gaze to the man that had spoken. He knew in that instent that he was speaking to the devil.
"Yes, master." Hakudoshi answered while using all his might not to bite off his own tongue for letting those words pass his lips.
'This is only to keep him alive, only…for you, Kohaku.'
Slade grabbed Hakudoshi by the neck. Then he sent the ten-year old boy flying into the wall. Hakudoshi struggled to get up. When he found his leg shattered he gave up and just lay on the floor.
" I know how fast you heal, in three days I have another job for you." Slade announced.
'Fucker, just because I'm a demon doesn't mean that if I get hurt it will heal instantly.' Hakudoshi thought.
"Retire for the night. I don't want to see till morning."
'Gladly.' Hakudoshi thought as he walked away down to the basement that was his 'room.' In reality it was only a bed. Hell, the basement didn't even have a window. Slade didn't want him to get ideas about escaping. Like he would have anywhere to go. Hakudoshi just barely had a family.
"The minute I get the chance, he's dead.' The young demon vowed.
Flashback
"Ah." Kohaku grunted as he placed a hand to his head.
Hakudoshi went rushing to his side.
"You ok? Di shou veu?" He asked, Kohaku was his twin brother, if something was wrong he'd do anything he could to help.
"My head…feels…weird-" Kohaku answered before passing out.
Hakudoshi immanently ran to tell his father what happened. They were forced to call an ambulance when Kohaku wouldn't wake up. Later that night Hakudoshi was checking his email trying his hardest not to think about what happened when he received a strange letter.
Hakudoshi,
If you want your precious twin to live, you will become my apprentice.
I have been watching you; you are exactly the person I'm looking for.
I have implanted a radioactive liquid into Kohaku.
Refuse your brother dies, and me. Meet me at midnight by the bridge in front
Of the town hall if you agree.
Slade
Hakudoshi's breath hitched. He couldn't believe it. This was like something out of Salem's Lot. There was no way it could be true. Regardless of that fact, Hakudoshi snuck out at 11:23 to make it in time to meet this Slade person.
"And here I thought you wouldn't show, good boy."
Hakudoshi whipped around to come face to face with the man who threatened him.
"What do you want with me?" Hakudoshi asked.
"I already told you, I need an apprentice. Disobey me, and Kohaku will be dead. Understand?" Slade answered.
Hakudoshi glared without saying anything. Slade backhanded the child as hard as he could.
"Yes, Master." Hakudoshi answered, forcing himself to surrender.
