Inoue Orihime talks too much, and far too fast. Her friends marvel at the swiftness with which she changes topics, and the incredible things she says about them. What's more amazing is how someone with such a fanciful imagination can be so damned smart all the time.

Inoue loves the stars, and has done so for as long as she can remember. Their tiny lights in the velvet sky has never failed to comfort her, because they're the closest to heaven, and therefore the closest to her oniisan who she loves so much.

It isn't just those delicate little lights, but the lights in Kurosaki-kun's beautiful brown eyes.

Inoue loves butterflies as much as she loves the stars.

The little creatures fascinated her from the first time she saw them, and decided to paint a large mural of them across her bedroom wall. Her oniisan helped her reach the places she was too short to get to, and when they were finished, he told her that although the butterflies were pretty, their colours were dimmed next to the warm brightness of her hair.

Inoue loves to eat, and create the most exciting kinds of food. She tries a bit of everything once, but always returns to her favourite food – Tatsuki-chan's moms food. Inoue has made lunch for Ishida-kun and Kuchiki-san and Kurosaki-kun, and it surprised her when all three of them ate what she made. Kuchiki-san loved the cake she made, but the sweet bean, jelly, banana, honey and custard trifle tasted a bit odd, even to her, and when Kurosaki-kun asked for seconds, Inoue didn't know what to do.

When the Shunshun Rikka burst free of her star shaped hair pins, she was the only person who was surprised; the little fairies were like a physical manifestation of her personality.

Inoue's biggest dream has been to be helpful to her beloved Kurosaki-kun, and when she went with him to Soul Society, it touched her deeply that he was so concerned about her welfare.

Inoue is like sunshine and moonlight to her friends, stars and butterflies. Her sweet personality, innocent charm and endearing clumsiness are the things they treasure most about her.

Inoue would be surprised if they told her that; she truly doesn't consider herself to be that special. She knows the truth – that only when she's with her friends and Kurosaki-kun that her true colours shine.

Like a butterfly, or a star.
