Sakura entered the Library with a basket of homemade cookies and pastries. She nervously looked around for some of the people in her class. She was struggling in her strategies of business course and the teacher had told her to join the study group he knew met in the library every Saturday at 9 am. She had never been good at getting up but she knew this was very important as a freshman to do well her first semester at Tokyo University.
Her dad was counting on her to do well. He told her that keeping her scholarship to the university where he worked would be hard work and that he was counting on her. She looked among the books for a table with her classmates at it. She found it, but was hesitant to approach it. The girls sitting there had disliked Sakura on sight after adding into the class. It looked like some other figures there as well as her class maybe both sections of the class met up to review the material.
Alex the American was sitting with them so she approached the table hoping to be accepted in. "Um…Hi guys I heard you were reviewing our class seminars can I join? I brought some cookies for..." She was cut off by Maka a snotty girl who made it her life to be a bitch.
"I'm sorry but our table is full why don't you study by yourself?"
"Oh I think we can squeeze one more in" Alex said on her behalf.
Maya stomped on his foot and he shut up after that. Sakura stood there awkwardly and turned to leave. The Chocolate haired man at the end of the table she hadn't noticed before stood up and said, "If you won't invite her to study with us then I will leave as well."
Sakura stared at a person she hadn't seen in over 8 years. "Syaoran?"
The man nodded and smiled at her. He drew up next to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. They were starting to walk away when Maya stopped them. "Wait…hey Syaoran why are you leaving?"
He appeared angry. "I leave as I choose and that's Li to you Maya."
He walked along with Sakura, who was too stunned to say anything. She was blushing like crazy with his arm around her. She couldn't think of anything to say.
"I always seem to get myself into trouble don't I Syaoran?" He smiled down at her. He had grown rather tall he must be at least six feet two inches. She was only five feet seven inches, but she wasn't intimidated by him. They stopped at another table far from where Maya and the others were and sat down to review notes.
"Why are you here Syaoran?"
"Well your father had told me a month earlier that you would be studying here so I made sure I came here as well, all my training is done now so I can choose any college I want to. I chose to come to the one you were at."
The studied the material until it all made sense to Sakura. They were getting up to leave when thinking of nothing better she launched herself at him Nakuru-style. She hugged him tight. "I missed you Syaoran" she said into his chest. He blushed uncontrollably and hugged her back just as tight.
"I love you Sakura" he said without thinking. She blushed when she looked up at him, "I always will love you Syaoran." He smiled big and blushed. They walked along getting reacquainted; they held hands knowing nothing could separate them now.
