Fragile
Grey eyes and blonde princess curls;
Don't let her beauty deceive you;
She is a strategist, a warrior, a survivor
They found her,
Protected her;
And they were family
The older girl, with electric blue eyes;
She sacrificed her life;
She was the sister she never had
Her heart, hidden,
Her eyes, a stormier gray;
She wasn't the same
He resented the gods,
For not doing anything,
And she was scared
For a while, she thought the same way,
Until that one, special day:
Her mother had claimed her
Though his father had done the same,
He could not get over
The "death" of the other
He had betrayed her
And her newfound friends;
He had her hurt
Her heart, covered in stone
Her features, older,
Her insides, fragile
She promised herself,
She would never fall;
She would never break
Inside the rock-hard shell,
Was fragile glass
Still being repaired
The electric-eyed girl had returned
Her best friend,
Her sister
They became best friends,
Her and the boy,
The one with the sea-green eyes
She wished it was more,
Yet she feared that it was;
She'd been broken too many times
Years pass, monsters exploded,
Titans are defeated,
And all is well
She had fallen for him,
For the seaweed-brained boy;
She fell
For a while, she was happy.
She let him in, trusted him,
Then he disappeared,
Like everything else she'd cared about;
And she broke
The rocks fell away,
The glass shattered,
And she was not the same.
She broke, because of him;
She fell, because of him;
And she loved him for that
She should hate him;
She wants to,
But she just can't
She didn't know why
She couldn't hate him
She didn't like not knowing
And she was sure as Hades that she would find out;
Sure as Hades that she would find him.
