Hi! Before you read this story, I just want to say that I've only read the Twilight Saga once. I have to admit, I only picked it up because I wanted to read another vampire series after I finished reading the Vampire Diaries series. It took me a while to get past the *sparkling*. Stephanie Meyer's vampires are very much different from Dracula. Despite my skepticism, I have to say I loved the pairing of Edward and Bella. Before I bore you to death with my monologue, let me get on with the story. Hope you like it. \/

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters mentioned in this story. All of them belong to Stephanie Meyer.

Prologue:

As the CEO of Cullen Corporations, Edward Cullen had very little to ask for. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and at the age of 26 he had more than a fifty thousand employees working under him.

However, most of these employees didn't stay for more than a month or two. In fact when it came to Edward's secretary, a week was the current record for longest duration before getting fired.

"Lauren!" Edward yelled from inside his office. He had a lunch meeting in fifteen minutes and he required the files from the finance department. Client meetings were always exhausting.

His blonde secretary stuck her head in and asked in what she assumed to be a sultry tone, "Yes, Mr. Cullen?"

"I need the files for my meeting with Mr. Banner," he informed her.

"Just a minute, Mr. Cullen."

She ducked out of his office for a minute and came back with a blue file. He took the file from her and opened it to make sure everything was in order. This was usually Lauren's job however he had learned early on in the business that his secretaries could not be trusted with even the simplest of tasks.

He was proven right for the thousandth time as he saw that Emmett's signature was missing. He looked up at the waiting blonde who stood in front of his desk and asked her in his calmest voice, "Where is Emmett's signature on this?"

"M...Mr. Cullen, I...," she stuttered.

He snapped up the phone and called Emmett's secretary, Angela. "Angela, I need the file for Mr. Banner signed. The one I have here isn't."

"I gave the signed file to Lauren on Wednesday, Mr. Cullen," she replied promptly.

He hung up the phone and asked Lauren where the signed file was. She stuttered, before running out to check on her desk. Edward grabbed his blazer and followed her out. At this rate, he would definitely be late.

"Did you find it?"

She shook her head silently while desperately shuffling through the papers on her desk.

"I want your stuff cleared out before I come back from lunch." he told her and continued down the corridor to get on the waiting elevator. He pressed the button for the floor below as well as the lobby.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, on the floor below, Angela thrust a file in his hands. He nodded at her as the doors closed once again

'Emmett always gets the competent secretaries' he thought to himself.

Lauren had survived four days. He made a quick call to Alice. She sighed and told him she would have a new secretary for him by Monday.

It was with resignation that Alice, his younger sister, who also happened to be the head of human resources, faced the daunting task of hiring him a new secretary every time he fired his current one.

'Thank god for small mercies' she thought as she caught sight of her fiancé, Jasper who was in charge of the legal team and her second older brother Emmett, who was the CFO of the company. They smiled at her understandingly as she frantically rushed around calling agencies to hire Edward a new secretary. Again.

As she did on most Mondays, Alice stood in front of the main entrance of the skyscraper which housed Cullen Co. She was waiting for the newest secretary. After a while most of their names had blurred in her memory. However, the latest candidate was called Jessica Stanley. She came highly recommended from her previous company, Uley and Black Co. She had worked as Mr. Black's secretary in her tenure there. Due to the large amounts of time spent in commute, she decided to change companies. All this Alice had gathered from the brief interview she had done over the phone that weekend.

Right at that moment, the double doors of the establishment opened to let in a young woman. She had long waist length, wavy brown hair which she had pinned back from her face. She barely had any make up on except for mascara and lip gloss. Her warm brown eyes were huge in her petite face. She had a small button nose, and plump lips. She wore a knee length, black pencil skirt, stockings and a cream colored shirt. Three inch heels encased her feet and brought her overall height to be about 5' 9". To top it off she had a pair of half rimmed spectacles perched on the bridge of her nose. Alice seriously hoped that this one would be different.

She fixed a peppy smile on her face before she walked towards Jessica.

"Hello. Welcome to Cullen Corporations," she greeted. Jessica smiled a charming little smile, before shaking Alice's outstretched hand.

"It's good to be here," she smiled, "you must be Alice."

"Yes. Come on I'll show you around the top floor before Edward arrives." Alice pushed the button to call the elevator down and prayed to god that Jessica would survive more than a week there.

Unbeknownst to her, Jessica Stanley was smirking behind her. She had just received a piece of good news through the earring communicator which she wore. The real Jessica Stanley had been safely diverted to a different company. Her team had been working hard for the past three days to achieve that feat.

"Thank you, Rose. Please stand by while I am given a tour of the building. If you notice anything suspicious, inform me," she ordered as she looked around the lobby. Her glasses would transmit live video coverage to the tech analyst who sat in the Starbucks across the road.

"Roger, Agent Swan," was the swift reply to her orders.

Isabella Swan or Bella as she preferred smirked to herself one last time before stepping into the elevator with Alice Cullen.

Alright. This is my first twilight fanfiction. I really wanted to mix the ideas of secret agent Bella with secretary Bella and this is the product.

Before I get carried away, I really want your opinion on whether or not I should continue with this story. I plan to update again next Tuesday, but that all depends on your opinion.
Please review.

Love,
Flame Avis.
