"Hello down there!"

Rochelle looked up at the young woman standing on the bridge. "Oh, thank God! I thought I might be the last woman on Earth."

"Yeah… I know that feeling" said said, seeming almost relieved that she was't the only one. "You just have to get to the other side of the bridge. We'll help you from here."

"Thank you!"

Rochelle looked at her teammates. "Let's go."

They nodded in agreement, walking down to the courtyard area.

Rochelle looked back at the bridge, the other group of survivors out of sight. She sighed.

Okay, all they had to do was get to the other side of the bridge.

She looked at her teammates faces. They looked worn, and this was only two days in. What chance did they have? How long until they would be rescued? Would they make it to the evacuation point?

No one lives forever. But that's no reason to give up.

They had to make it through this. It was now or never. They had to get to the other side.

Rochelle wondered what the young female surviror had been through. Had she been through just as much as they had? Had they been through worse?

How long had she been caught up in all this?

Had she lost family, just as they had? Or were they lucky and had been rescued? Was she left behind?

"Okay, let's do this" said Coach, the encouragement present in his voice.

Rochelle nodded.

She could do this. They could do this.
