Title: Secret's Out

Rating: T

Warning: eating disorder: bulimia

Summary: When Eleanor is out all day, Blair Waldorf is stuck with the family. B needs an escape from the insanity. Unfortunately, the most unexpected (or expected) visitor enters the scene, but he doesn't give the UES queen her privacy. Of all the situations she can control, why can't she control him? Why does he keep prying into her life? Since when does he even care about anyone, especially to have a heart-to-heart about THIS?

Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine. The characters and their problems belong to Cecily von Ziegesar and I'll give credit to Josh and Stephanie for you-know-who. ;)

Also, I am not an expert on bulimia, so forgive me if I mess things up. But, like the rating and summary indicates, it is a large part of the story and I've been doing a little bit of research on it.

Author's Note: This is based on the books, but uses a specific show relationship. ;) You do not need to have read the books to understand this story. The show has already mentioned B's problem. It's just part of B's character more in the books, and unlike the show, she hasn't talked to anyone or tried stopping. Also, B's eyes are blue in the books. Leighton's eyes are brown, which is why in the show, she has brown eyes, but I'm staying with the books.

Here's a little character up-to-date thing for you, and yes, these are REAL characters in the books; Blair DOES have a brother, surprise, surprise:

Tyler Waldorf: Blair's 12-year-old brother

Cyrus Rose: Eleanor's (recently new) husband, Blair's stepfather of a few weeks

Aaron Rose: Cyrus' 16-year-old son, Blair's stepbrother of a few weeks

A/N 2: In this fic, no one knows about the disorder. In the books, is seems like people know (just don't care), but I'm changing that to suit my story. And, in this way, it makes it more like a combination of Books/Show. Also, I'm using the show's version of Chuck and having the gang as a foursome (CBNS), not the threesome (BNS) like the books have it.

A/N 3: Also, this isn't a chapter, but more of a preview/excerpt/teaser of the story. So, reviews, comments, suggestions, etc. would be VERY much appreciated. I am working on this, but we'll see if the writer's block lets up.

T.E.A.S.E.R.

Blair looked at herself in the mirror. A brown hair, blue-eyed, sad looking young woman – no, a little girl – stared back. From the mirror, there was a soft pout looking at her and she knew all those calories from that disgustingly fattening breakfast were going to go to all the wrong places. Her mother would not approve. And why couldn't she have given Blair a warning that she would be out all day? It would have given Blair some time to find something to do besides be stuck with three losers. Though she loved her brother, Tyler was not up to par with the UES.

Grabbing her toothbrush, Blair knelt down in front of the toilet bowl. She shoved the brush down her throat until she began to gag and felt the pancakes begin to rise up. She removed the brush and immediately clutched the rim of the toilet as vomit spilled out.

In between gagging and the vomiting, Blair heard the faint sound of footsteps approaching the bathroom door. Luckily, it was locked.

"Blair?" a boy's voice called through the solid barrier.
