A/N: Here's a new one shot that could become something more if you like it. And all I'm saying is that the obvious outcome for the eventual transformation isn't going to be what you think.

I have been around for a long time, longer for any to try and comprehend, and it would take a lot more than a burst of energy of the spark it'd created to kill me.

Young Samuel Witwicky might have been the last person to hold me, but he was not the only one. There had been another, the one that had handed me over to him, and because I could feel my end coming, I transferred my programming, my 'consciousness' into him.

My cube form might not have had 'me' in it anymore, but it still had enough for me to feel my 'body' die as it was plunge into my way ward creations spark. I could feel his own spark extinguish with 'mine' and though I mourned the loss of a creation, like the countless one's who had been subjected to the cruelty of this 'Sector Seven,' I can still remember the countless vorns he'd been destroying our home planet.

I had settled into my host, his own memories and experiences laid out before me, and I knew I had made a good choice. This, William Lennox and I had a lot in common, we are both resilient for one.

He doesn't know that I lay with in his mind, or that I am changing his physiology to suit a form I deem more appropriate.

I have no doubt he will resist when the change becomes more obvious, but he will learn to accept it I am sure. His acceptance will be necessary when our two separate consciousness starts to merge together and he will no doubt start to experience what I have and will experience.

It will hurt at times, I also have no doubt about, but I'm sure he will persevere through it, for he certainly lives up to his name with all that I've seen of his memories, and he will need those close to him to make it through this.

I wish I didn't have to do this, I truly do, but it must be done for I will not allow my creations to become extinct. This human will become more than human, but not at the same time.

He will no longer be just a man is what I'm saying. He will be in a form that's closer to mine.

My host, my 'partner,' is starting to stir in the contraption called a bed beside his mate from one of my own memories.

I can hold myself back, but it gets much more difficult as time goes on.

Soon, the changes will become apparent, and it is then I will make myself known to him.

He will be needing answers after all.

Will Lennox sat up in his bed, blinking sleep out of his eyes before looking out the window to make sure the outside was earth and not the metal building he'd been in. But while it had been a dream, he knew it had been a dream as he'd been frozen in place, but it still felt so real that he just had to be sure.

Will looked down at his wife and smiled before lying back down and closed his eyes.

Though unbeknownst to him, before his eyes had closed, they had glowed with a soft, eerie yellow light.
