What I say
The sun sent its golden rays to dance over the morning sky as people began to stir from their restful sleeps. The excitement of Dark's newest thieving had passed and everyone waited eagerly for new news.
In the Niwa household Daisuke lay flat on his stomach, starring at With, with a frown playing on his delicate features.
"With I told you not to eat mum's cake!" Dai frowned deeper when he noticed that Wiz wasn't paying attention but merely licking the cream from his paws greedily.
"Wiz! You're not even listening to me!" Dai rolled onto his back and sighed. "Why won't you ever listen to me?"
Wiz tilted his head and beamed up at Dai.
Dai remembered something Emiko had once told him.
"Just think of Wiz as your annoying little brother, whenever he does something threaten him by saying you'll tell Dark!"
Dai grinned. He could always use that theory. He was shaken from his musing by a crash.
"WIZ!" Dai yelled, jumping to his feet and trying to gather the fallen paint brushers.
Wiz beamed innocently at him and hopped off, heading to the kitchen.
"Wiz!" Dai abandoned his cleaning and headed after him. "Hey!" He scooped up Wiz as he picked up a plump red strawberry. "Wiz, if you don't stop trying to get into my stuff I'm telling Dark!" The mention of the thief Phantom bought a reaction to Wiz. He dropped the strawberry.
"Did you call?" Dai looked over his shoulder at Dark, who was leaning on the doorframe with an amused expression. He trailed his amethysts eyes over Dai.
Dai sighed and placed Wiz back onto the counter. Dark had approached the two and he wrapped an arm around Dai's thin waist.
"What did Wiz do now?" Amusement was laced in Dark's tone as he rested his head on Dai's shoulder.
"Besides trash my room and eat mum's cake?" Dai asked bitterly.
Dark chuckled and turned his eyes on Wiz who was happily eating the abandoned strawberry.
"Wiz, do as Dai says." He ordered. Wiz looked up at his master and nodded. "See Dai it's not so hard!"
Dai rolled his ruby orbs and smiled at Dark. "Thankyou Dark."
A grin spread across Dark's pale lips and he kissed Dai's cheek. Dai rolled his eyes and pulled out of Dark's strong hold. Dark gave him a confused look and Dai giggled.
"We're in the middle of the kitchen." A sly look crossed Dark and he grabbed Dai, dragging him towards their room. "Dark!" Dai protested, not bothering to fight the Phantom Thief.
"I think you should 'thank me' properly." Dark's eyes darkened and Dai sighed, fighting back the smile.
"Oh how so?"
"You'll see!"
