Brenda Barrett finds herself all alone on a dark road in Port Charles. She didn't know where to go. The evil Carlo Hessor was after her and she had to get away. She was scared to death because she didn't know what he wanted. Brenda comes to a bridge where there was water below. It seemed like the perfect get away and Brenda takes it. Into the cold waters below she goes never to be seen again. She manages to get to land and lay because she was so exhausted. She couldn't scream for help she was afraid Carlo would easily find her. She slowly get's up and walks through the woods. She comes to abandoned cabin and heads inside. She was cold and wet and needed something to warm her up. She was out of options no phone, no computer, no fax machine. She was stuck inside this cabin until Carlo had given up looking for her. She falls to sleep thinking about the people she had left behind in Port Charles. She even thought of her first love the dark and mysterious Mobster Sonny Corinthos. She smiles thinking of him with stars in her eyes and wondering what he's up to. She even thought was he thinking of her and did he need her because she needed him. In Port Charles Sam McCall was having a bad dream about her other half Livvie Locke. Sam did not want to return to that person but for some reason she was coming into mind. Sam wakes up after having a nightmare that she killed Jason Morgan. Sonny Corinthos hitman and best friend and the love of her life. Sam had images of her ex-boyfriend Caleb Morley in her head. She was not that person anymore she had changed. Sam goes downstairs to get a glass of water and looks outside in the living room into the darkness. Luckily she was in a city where there was lit up buildings. Sam had no money of her own she pretty much had gained some fortune from Jason and Alexis Davis. Sam had learned she was not Alexis's daughter and it had Sam questioning who her biological mother was. Suddenly there was a knock at Sam's door she goes to answer it it was none other than Kim Nero. She and Sam had become close because of their love for Drew Cain. Drew was Jason's brother and they both loved Sam. Kim couldn't sleep she was too having issues about her past. The way Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan were treating her like she had lived in Port Charles before. It made Kim curious about her life and how perhaps maybe she was meant to be somebody else. Sam and Kim both decide to search for answer's together so they both head inside Kim's car and head for the road in the night. They come to the bridge that Brenda had jumped off of. Kim and Sam get out the car and go to the bridge. Sam felt very uncomfortable she could feel parts of her past that she didn't want to come out. All of a sudden a strange male voice from behind startles Sam and Kim. They turn to notice the man he introduces himself as Mitch Lawrence. Sam and Kim at first find him to be a really nice guy that was just worried about the two ladies. Mitch however was more interested in Kim he had a connection with her and he wanted to find out deeper what she meant to him. Kim however find's Mitch a bit creepy and so does Sam they decide to leave but another man by the name of Stefano Dimera appears. Three men come out from behind and are ready to take Kim and Sam. They didn't know what to do so they both jump into the cold water to escape both men. Kim and Sam find themselves at the same cabin Brenda was. They go inside and see Brenda on the floor. They had wondered was she a victim of Mitch and they go to softly wake her up. Brenda wakes up and see's Kim and Sam. She was grateful somebody has found her but what she did not know was that Kim and Sam were lost too.

"How long have you been here?" Sam asks.

"I don't know hours." Brenda replies.

"What's your name?" Kim asks.

"Brenda Barrett who are you guys?" Brenda asks.

"I'm Sam McCall I know who you are I know Jason and Sonny they'd want to help." Sam says.

"I'm Kim Nero." Kim says.

Brenda thought that Kim looked familiar and it was like as if she had met her before.

"Do I know you?" Brenda asks.

"I doubt it." Kim says.

"You look rather familiar." Brenda says.

"I've been getting that from Jason and Sonny and I really don't know what it is about me that they see." Kim replies.

Mitch was angry that he didn't get the two ladies and he put his frustrations onto his partner in crime Stefano Dimera. Carlo Hessor was also part of the team and he was determined to find Brenda. Carlo demands that his thugs search for Brenda and bring her to him. He had very special plans for her. Mitch though points out that he was the main leader in all of this and for a moment the three men were at each other throats about whose idea this really was and who was the main evil guy out of all three of them. The three men head back to the Mansion and see there female helpers Faith Roscoe, Ava Jerome, and Claudia Zacharra they had retrieved a lifeless body and put the person in a room. Carlo goes to see the body it was none other then the Mobster Lorenzo Alcazar. Mitch thought to himself what a great guy to team up with but when Lorenzo woke up he wanted nothing to do with the three men. He however did not have a choice as they drug him and program him to do as they wanted him to do. Sonny Corinthos finds himself in his penthouse drinking some spanish champagne and looking out at the night sky. He was all scruffy and looked like he hadn't slept for days. Sonny found out that Mike Corbin is not his real father. Sonny needed answer's and his current wife Carly was not helping. Sonny had caught his rival Jasper Jax in bed with Carly. Sonny wanted a divorce from Carly but she will not give it to him. Carly loved the idea of having both of Brenda's former men at her side. She hated Brenda and was glad she was gone from Port Charles. Now if only she could break up Jason and Sam the better. In Carly's eyes all three men were her's and no other lady could have them but her. Sonny also learns that Rick Lansing is not his brother and Sonny felt as if he had no other obligations or apologies to make to Rick. Sonny recieves a letter from his true biological mother. Sonny's mom was no other than Dorian Lord from Llanview. Sonny had to go to Llanview to find her but Carly did not want Sonny to leave her. Sonny has Alexis draw up divorce paper's and to give them to Carly as he signs his portion. Carly was devestated when she got the paper's she did not want to end her marriage to Sonny. Jax however had already taken on the role of becoming Michael's dad for Carly's sake. Carly however loved Sonny too and in her own twisted way of thinking felt she could have both. Sonny leave's Port Charles as Sam, Kim, and Brenda arrive. Brenda finds herself in Jason's penthouse and knew where she was the last thing she wanted was for Jason to see her.

"I don't know if this such a good idea." Brenda says.

"Jason would want to see you Brenda and he would want to help." Sam replies.

"I shouldn't be here." Brenda says.

"Why not?" Kim asks.

"I'm pretty sure life here in Port Charles is better without me in it and I'm just going to mess up Jason's life. I mean he's with you and I'm just like in the way. I mean we aren't exactly close." Brenda says.

"Your in danger Brenda and you need help. Who else is going to help you?" Sam asks.

"You two can help me I haven't had real girlfriends you know and well Carly she's not actually girlfriend material if you know what I mean." Brenda replies.

"Your not the only one on Carly's shit list just get in line." Sam says.

Kim was getting exhausted and wanted to get some sleep. Sam encourages both women to stay the night. Sam heads up stairs and get's some shut eye.
