Okay, I just wanted to say. This is my first book like ever, and I mean ever. I encourage feedback for the first chapter, this isn't completely the story of AOT it's actually a storyline that I built off of from the manga so there are SOME spoilers but nothing extremely major also these are created characters so no Eren or Mikasa. Alright we all good let's get it! Also I do not own any of these themes, all belong to AOT.

It's the year 700, and honestly people are doing well as they make machines and tools every single day to survive. All of the people hear about the civilization that was located in the west, giant walls and people thriving in those towns. But no one has heard of titans yet, but all that will change when Lloyd, Salvatore, and George the commanders of Hope-falls get ahold of serums that change people into mindless monsters. They use that to their advantage, and destroy everything in sight which brings us to the question. Will Void-ville be able to withstand the damage of the titans.

Chapter One

"Okay make sure not to jump on her father.." A woman said in a sweet voice as a teenage boy and a child rush into the room. The youngest child decides to jump on the bed which another man stayed, "God damn, Kristen.." The woman said laughing as the teenage boy started laughing to.

"Oh my goodness! Kristen!" The big man grabbed his youngest child who was a female and then started carrying her.

"Happy fathers day dad!" Kristen said smiling and kissing the forehead of the man, the man's name was Thomas Norton. This was his family, it consisted of Sarah Norton the wife a sweet woman who would always help around the house and would help around the community. Myles Norton the oldest son who was actually pretty tough, he was a very nice dude but he didn't like to show his soft side only with Kristen his little sister. Kristen was the daughter of Thomas Norton, she was adopted she was homeless before Thomas picked her up.

"Happy fathers day, dad." Myles said smiling as he shook the hand of his father. Myles wouldn't show off his friendly side with his father either, mostly with girls.

"Appreciate it." Thomas said shaking the hand of his son back, Thomas was very friendly and extremely nice when it came to his family. Ever since Myles turned 16 he figured that he would want to be considered cool now, but he would never ever stop babying Kristen she was adorable.

"Happy fathers day honey!" Sarah said as she watched him put Kristen down and then Sarah kissed him on the lips putting her arms around him.

"Okay enough!" Kristen said breaking them up, Myles slightly chuckled at this and then exited the room. "Can we go don to the river! Myles, come to please!"

"No, I have work to do." Myles said looking at Kristen, Myles also liked to show his friendly side with Kristen to and he hoped that she never grew up. But Kristen looked slightly saddened but seem to accept it, but Myles couldn't look at Kristen acting sad. "Okay.."

Thomas and Sarah held hands on their way down to the river and Myles held the hand of Kristen. Myles and Kristen started skipping rocks in the river while Sarah and Thomas just walked nearby the river. "It's nice that you have been off duty for the past few months, it's always so lonely when you leave." Sarah said as she grabbed the hand of Thomas tighter.

"You know I am going to have to go back out soon, it's just a matter of time." Thomas said as he looked down at Sarah in her eyes. "But you know, I do it to keep you safe."

Suddenly an orange haired girl was walking down the river and Thomas sighed as he saw her. Her name was Helen and she was rather friendly but man, sometimes did she talk to much. Also she would only come if she needed something, or if there was a mission. Thomas looked at Helen and Helen tried to avoid eye contact until she got close. "Hi! Thomas!" She said as she got close to Thomas, raising her hand and waving it. "I need to talk to you in private for a second.." Helen said getting close seeing Myles and Kristen having fun. Thomas hesitantly followed Helen.

"Okay so, we have a slight problem and you are going to need to come with us. I'm sorry! But Hope has taken over Firebend! And in under a hour to." Helen stated looking worried.

"Relax, Firebend is a ways away from us. What are they going to do send a nuke they know for a fact that we have enough firepower, to exterminate all of them." Thomas said as he looked to walk away.

"Thomas. In under a hour, that's a problem Firebend has a ton of firepower and they destroyed it in under an hour." She said as she tried to prevent Thomas from leaving. "They want you at the base.." Helen said as she looked at him.

"Oh my goodness.." Thomas turned around and looked at his family as they looked back at him, "Guys. I got to go in.." Thomas said as he walked up to Sarah and then kissing her, he looked down at Kristen and then kissed her head and then gave Myles a handshake and then put a peace sign up. Thomas went back to the house and then started packing his things figuring that they want a bunch of people to go over to Firebend. Thomas left his house with his items and then started walking down the cobblestone street. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and he swiftly turned around, it was his friend Gabriela. Gabriela was extremely nice when she wasn't a solider or garrisoned, but when garrisoned she was literally the strictest person that you ever met.

"Hi there. Thomas." She said quite blankly, she was actually pretty happy that she was going in. Most of the times when she was at home she would do nothing because she lived alone. But with the army around her she was basically able to converse and do a whole bunch of stuff, but she was rather a bully in the military. She flipped her black hair as it was in her face.

"Hi Gabriela," Thomas said looking at her as he walked beside her. Gabriela was also quite younger than Thomas but they share basically the same interests so she likes talking with him instead of other people.

"Happy Father's Day." She said smiling as she bumped into Thomas causing him to slightly stumble. "Your kids do anything special for you?" Gabriela asked looking up at Thomas.

"Nah, just jumped on my bed. Kristen at least Myles acts like he doesn't know he is trying to act cool." Thomas said, "But he's a sweetheart. When he is with Kristen at least."

"Really? I always thought he was nice to me.." Gabriela said as she started slowing down wanting to listen to the story.

"That's because you're a girl. Well woman." Thomas said smirking as he started walking faster.

"Oh." Gabriela said realizing what he means. "Wait!" Gabriela tried catching up with the big man but Thomas didn't want to explain it to her again so he laughed and started jogging.

A few minutes later and they arrived, Brandon was waiting in his office. Gabriela and Thomas sat down, they contacted Thomas because of the fact that he was a commander Gabriela was a very strict soldier. Plus both of them liked to be off at the same times. "Alright, guys here is the deal. We have lost Firebend in a record time, and no one really knows why. Now Layla is trying to get some information back from the field and she will study it and find out what happened. Now I say tanks, because we did have a lot of firepower in one place but here's the thing nothing was destroyed. Well the based with the firepower wasn't destroyed." Brandon Curtis, he was an officer of the whole operation. He was rather strict, not extremely strict but he would tend to shout here and there. He had blonde hair and a slight blonde beard, which he would often stroke when he was frustrated.

Brandon poured himself some alcohol and offered them some, Thomas rejected but Gabriela took a big swig of it even Brandon was surprised. Gabriela put the mug down and started to hiccup. "So.. what do you.. want us to do?" Gabriela asked in between hiccups.

"Well, we are going to see Christina right now because she called a meeting addressing it." Brandon got up and then started walking with Gabriela and Thomas. Gabriela slightly leaned on Thomas because she was kind of buzzed because of that alcohol but it didn't completely affect her. On the way to the queen's palace, Thomas was greeted by a young girl.

"Hi Mr. Norton!" The girl said grabbing on the arm of Thomas.

"Skylar!" Thomas messes with the hair of Skylar as she giggles. "You're taking care of your mother right?"

"Yeah! My dad is helping me to!" Skylar said as Thomas started to walk away, Gabriela waved at Skylar to and then walked away.

"You're good with children.." Gabriela said smiling at Thomas while walking.

"Isn't he." Brandon heard their conversation and was looking back at them when Thomas was talking to Skylar. "I wish that Christina would have a child so I could finally be an uncle. But I guess she doesn't want her blood passed down."

"You thought about kids Brandon?" Gabriela asked catching up with him, Brandon had to pause and think about that for a while.

"Yeah, you?" Brandon asked looking down at Gabriela.

"Oh well.." Gabriela looked conflicted, she did want to have kids but the responsibility was to high for that she would probably just adopt one to. "Yeah but I would adopt it.. every man is scared of me anyways." She jokes smiling at the end causing Thomas to chuckle slightly along with Brandon.

"Alright, so we are here." Brandon said as he started jogging up the steps, soldiers were guarding the doors and they let Brandon, Thomas, and Gabriela. Brandon looked at Christina and since they were brothers and sisters they were more friendly with each other. "Christina!" Brandon didn't have to address her as madam or anything mostly because they were close.

"Brandon? Oh hello!" Christina said smiling and waving at Brandon.

"We have a meeting soon. Am I wrong?" Brandon was slightly confused, but Brandon knew Christina and she forgets stuff easily.

"Oh! That meeting, sorry I'll get to it right away!" Christina said rushing to the phone.

"Christina, the troops remember it's just that you don't remember." Brandon said.

"Oh, so they are on their way!" Christina said smiling as she went over to her kitchen. "I'll make some tea!"

"She doesn't really act like a queen if you guys didn't notice.." Brandon said looking back at them and Gabriela just smiled back at Brandon. "Alright you guys are free to head to the meeting room, because it's going to be a while before the troops come because… I didn't tell any of them, I need to call them." Brandon whispered the last part as he hurried to the phone. It was a very nice phone compared to the rest of the town's phones. Gabriela and Thomas headed to the meeting room and Gabriela plops herself down and puts her feet up making herself at home, Thomas just sat down formally and put his bag down.

"Hey Gabriela, you don't mind telling me why you swung down that alcohol right." Thomas said looking at Gabriela, Gabriela looked slightly surprised. She didn't know that Thomas cared that much about her problems, this took her aback.

"Well, Thomas. I sometimes, drink to stop feeling sad." Gabriela said looking at Thomas, she knew that drinking to prevent her sadness was bad but there wasn't anything else that helped her.

"Why are you sad?" Gabriela knew that question was coming next, she was trying to create a false scenario in her head but she couldn't. Gabriela knew she could probably trust Thomas though, he was nice and never really gossiped.

She sighed. "Thomas, you have your family and you have people in your life. Me, I don't have anyone ever since my parents died a few years back it's. It hasn't been a really good time for me." Gabriela said as she was filled with sorrow as she remembers her parents died and left Gabriela her house. But before Thomas said something Christina opened the door, Gabriela immediately put her feet down and pulled up to the table.

"I'm sorry, am I interrupting anything?" Christina asked, Thomas shook his head no and Christina came in with multiple cups of tea and put the platter down. "Do you guys want anything else?"

"No madam.. but thank you madam.." Thomas said as he kept on eyeing Gabriela. Gabriela shook her head no.

"Alright I think those are the troops now." Christina said opening the door for the troops, the troops were shocked to see the queen holding the door open but they all thanked her. These troops were different, they were the top 25 troops in the area. If they invited every troop they would need a much bigger meeting room, one of the troops was a man called Mark Dalton the father of Skylar. He is rather stern and doesn't joke around, but he is a good father nonetheless. He sat down next to Thomas, Gabriela noticed another man in the mix and it was Rex Jameson the office of the Voidville troops he had a huge beard but no hair. Thomas was the commander but the officer is much higher than the commander. Then there was Helen and a woman named Layla she was a doctor and professor of the group she never really liked fighting but she loved learning about machines Layla had black hair and put on an eyepatch sometimes, also she was really touchy but she was friendly. She helped Thomas raise his children and she absolutely loved the children, she took them out everywhere for sight seeing for food and just for fun overall she was an extremely good person. She messes up the long hair of Thomas as she walks by, Thomas smiles but fixes his hair.

"Alright." Brandon was the last one to enter and took his seat, "Christina come on you're in this to." Brandon said looking at Christina who was still holding the door open, even though no one was there. Christina realized that and then sat next to Brandon.

"Sorry, I forgot anyways. We have a slight problem in Firebend, it has been destroyed and rather quickly. We thought that it might be missiles or someone shot a sensitive part in the base but everything is still intact. And.. what is that.." Christina looked outside the window with the rest of the troops, a man was screaming and yelling outside as he was restrained by multiple guards. All the troops ran outside as most of the people in the town.

"I swear! They are not human!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as he started thrashing around, it was Hector Ford. Hector was always a tough dude but seeing him like this was almost heartbreaking, breaking down and crying in front of everyone. Hector was also pretty strong and broke away from the guards grabbing Christina, Rex saw this and then grabbed around the throat of Hector and took him down. "Monsters! I tell you, they are monsters! They ate, all of my friends!" Hector said breaking down and having a tantrum like a child. Thomas felt someone grab his hand it was Kristen.

"Why the hell are you here.." Thomas said kneeling down and looking at Kristen.

"I wanted to see the action.." Kristen said getting closer and slightly afraid of Hector.

"Wait! Guys," Layla moved Rex out of the way and helped Hector up, Hector was breathing heavily and held onto Layla. "It's alright Hector.." Layla said smiling as she was comforting Hector.

"She's babying him.." Rex said walking away from the scene, Layla kept on comforting Hector.

"T-thank you Layla." Hector was always nice to Layla, mostly because he liked her but he wanted to get his message out. "There are monsters, monsters that eat people. Big monsters.."

"Really?" Layla asked as she stood him up and Hector was able to catch his breath.

"I don't know how to explain them, all though I know.. they are extremely dangerous and can and will hurt you.." Hector said breathing hard as he started walking with Layla.

"Alright, well that was eventful." Gabriela said looking at Thomas, "You want to get lunch?"

"Alright, I ain't got nothing to do…" Thomas said as he saw Gabriela smile, Gabriela and Thomas started walking to the nearby lunch shack. Where basically sandwiches were being sold, Gabriela's mouth drooled slightly as she bit into the sandwich which was roast beef with cheese it was really good. So Thomas understood why she was downing the sandwich. "Wow you're really hungry aren't you.." Thomas said paying the man.

"Yeah, I'm sorry.." She said with a mouthful, realizing that she had a lot of food in there she closed her mouth with her hand and started chewing. She swallowed. "Yeah, I don't have a lot of food at home because I don't go out.." Gabriela said as she kept eating, Thomas took big bites of his sandwich and was able to eat it much quicker than Gabriela. "You notice, people are disappearing.. like in nearby towns they are dying." Gabriela said.

"Not dying. Maybe leaving because of the thing with the monsters.." Thomas said smiling at Gabriela.

"You believe it?" Gabriela asked looking at Thomas.

"No.." Thomas said he was unsure. He didn't want to believe Hector, but he was afraid that it might be true.
