The Soldier and the Warrior

the Avengers get a new team-mate that was presidentially ordered to, transferring from a deep-space recon base in Colorado. When sparks fly between the quiet, reluctant transfer and a recovering amnesiac soldier, will secrets that the government has kept even from SHIELD come out? Will they survive? rating may change.

1. Chapter 1

Chapter one: the call

"So Fury, what do want? I mean I really hope that you have a reason for calling all of us here," Stark said as he walked into the meeting room of the Avengers tower.

"As a matter of fact, Stark, I do. There's going another Avenger joining the team."

"So soon after Barnes joins? Is that a good idea?"

"It's because Barnes joined that you're getting the teammate now and not when you'd not have anyone capable of taking them down."

"You mean that there's someone out there who can take down a super soldier?"

"There's someone out there that can take the whole team down, and not break a sweat. The person in question has even more of a history with Hydra than Rodgers and Barnes combined. That being said, do not pass the person off unless you want to lose either a limb or something else that you are very attached to. Especially you Stark and Barton."

"So who is it?"

"The agent's name is Pr'Kaya."

Sorry for the wait on all my other fics but I got into a car accident a few weeks ago and since have either been out of town and have crappy hotel wifi or I forgot to bring the written copies of my stories.
