A cat bursts forward. His flaming ginger pelt matches the sun's powerful rays. We leap out of the river and pile into our mini vans as more arrive. They dig into the food. Then, one accidently drops a banana cream pie on another's head. I snicker. The one who the pie dropped on, a sturdy dark tabby with amber eyes, looks up and growls. The cat who dropped the pie, who I named Flame, is one simaliar to the leader. Flame yowls something, and suddenly our gatorade is dumped on the dark tabby, who I name Thorn. The cat who dumped it on him yowls something else. The cat's golden fur ripples in the heat. Sun. A small gray and white cat pies another cat, an even smaller gray tortiose-shell with green eyes. the gray and white cat, Dove. The green-eyed one, Green. I keep all these names to myself though. The other people around would think of me as a complete cuckoo. Suddenly, Flame-wait-Flame is a girl. This one is Great, being the one who led the attack on our picnic. Well, anyways, Great leaped out of nowere with two guaquemoles clutched in his front claws. He squeezes them, and instantly they splatter a long-haired gray cat, Gray. Gray turns around and hisses playfully at Great, who lands with great skill. Suddenly, a brown tabby shoulders through the ferns. Everyone stops. Gray leaps onto a table with a small dark brown cat, Fang. The brown tabby stalks up to Great and angrily confronts him. A dark gray tabby follows the powerful brown tabby, who I decide a fitting name is Bah. The gray one, Coal. Gray and Fang grip the bean soup and stagger over to Great, Bah and Coal. Suddenly, the brown soup is splattered over the three shocked cats. the beans slap into them. They stand there in shock as the enter the food fight. I bowl over laughing and tumble out of the mini van. The slam the door behind me. I'm stuck in range of their deadly pies. I sneak up and instantly pie Thorn. They race away, me pieing them all. Bah and Coal watch me in intrest. Then, I pie them. Sudenly, my brother's beside me and we pelt them with food. A pie smashes into me as tons more cats surge out behind Bah and Coal. We run for cover. The food fight is over as the cats simply eat, and leave.
