"Ginny! Neville! Are you all right?" Harry yelled.

"Never better! I feel like I could spit fire! You haven't seen Luna, have you?" asked Neville.

"Luna?"

"I'm mad for her. I think it's about time I told her, since we'll probably both be dead by dawn!" Neville said as he ran off.

He ran into the Great Hall looking for Luna. He saw her sitting at a table with a few other girls in their year who had recently turned seventeen and were allowed to fight. Neville started to walk up to them, but before he could get there, Luna ran up to him and did something he never saw coming. She kissed him, in the middle of the Great Hall, in front if everyone. At first Neville was startled, but he soon sunk into the kiss and made it deeper. After what seemed like hours, they broke apart. It was completely silent, but then people started clapping and cheering.

"Here," Luna said,"take this, so you don't get hurt," and she placed her butterbeer cap necklace around his neck. Then, they both ran off to rejoin the fight.
