He'll smile and like always it'll be okay again.
She waits, for years wanting to see her brother again.
A part of her knowing he is already dead.
Dead on that night he left, taking a piece of herself with him.
She misses him.
His sly wit and cunning smile.
She misses having someone protect her.
And maybe that is why years later she kissed that man.
She never knew she would actually want to kiss him again.
She thought one kiss would make him leave her alone, but then she found she did not want him to leave.
With his smile and laughter, he protected her from the evils of the world.
Her brother was gone she knew.
Her baby, growing inside her would never meet him….until death.
She missed him and the times they had together.
But she knows now that it's time to say goodbye.
At least until later, she will say goodbye now.
Moving on with the family she is creating.
Moving on with a promise to see him again.
She turns away, a smile on her face as she faces a new day.
