Me: Hmm, maybe I'll post some stories or something on Fanfiction! *checks date of last upload* 3 months ago?!

...okay, gotta get on top of this. I have a ton of ideas and stuff, but I have trouble following through on any of them that aren't little stubfics. ENFP problems, please stand by. Anyway, this little poem is experimental, so you can give me feedback on wording and stuff, because I just busted it out late at night. I'm actually experiencing the topic addressed in this poem, but I sorta Smashified it. It's hard to accept that your friends aren't flawless. Enjoy some uncharacteristically angsty stuff.

Oh little angel, has it ever occurred to you

That those you hold dearest make mistakes too?

The devastated realization in your eyes

As the ones you build up fall, deception and lies.

Oh little puffball, is it hard to confess

That your friends don't have the innocence you possess?

Turn a childish blind eye to the things they do

That tarnish the image of the person you knew.

Oh little boy, does it keep you up at night

To think of the way your best buddies fight?

Sparks fly from your hands, for you knew all along

And are forced to believe they're all in the wrong.

Oh little reptile, does it ever cross your mind

That the ones you love most can act unkind?

Bad decisions, malice, vengeance and spite,

Wound a soft heart to see brought to light.

It is a painful time when you must come to respect

That no matter how much you love them, it will not make them perfect.

So yeah, that's a poem. I get nervous showing people poetry, so I'm practicing not being a wuss and showing people.
