I saw something on Pinterest where we were supposed to comment something to make the other person smile. This is an extended version of what i commented. Non-betaed.

Castiel was not having a good day. Sam needed Dean to help get rid of a monster. Dean had left in the early morning in order to get to the town where he was meeting Sam, leaving Castiel with their three year old named Olivia Grace Winchester.

Olivia had long, curly blonde ringlets and her eyes were a perfect mix of blue and green. She was at that age where everything had to go her way or she was not happy. Normally, during the day at least, Olivia would be fine with have only one, or even neither of her fathers with her. She had an extensive amount of family, though very few were actually related to her.

At night however, it could only be her and her daddies in the house. This obsession was recent and only started when Sam was babysitting her one night so Dean and Cas could go to dinner and have some well deserved quiet time.

All that evening she had been a happy little girl, pretending she was a princess and Sam was her royal moose. She had begun referring to Sam as Moose after hearing Uncle Crowley call him that. The two of them played dress up and had tea parties. After a while, Sam started getting tired of all the girly things so he sat them down to watch tv. Of course all Olivia wanted to watch was Dora the Explorer.

Fortunately for Sam, he got her to compromise for the Looney Tunes. The two of them watched the tv for a while before Olivia started to yawn. Sam took her to her room and got her changed into her disney princess pajamas. He tried to get her to lay down but she refused. He thought she just wanted a story like normal but she wouldn't pick one out for him to read.

She ended up throwing such a fit that Sam had to call Dean and Cas and have them come home to take care of her. Once they were home and Sam had left, she calmed down and wanted the two of them to read her a story. She was completely fine once they were with her. After her story she went right to sleep.

Everybody thought it was just a fluke but it happened again one night when Aunt Charlie was babysitting. Charlie flipped out, had them come home, and left so fast you'd thought she'd seen a ghost or something.

It even happened when only one of them were there to read her a story. The first time was when Dean was having a long soak in the tub, trying to loosen up his sore muscles as he had gotten a little hurt earlier that day when a monster put up a fight. Trying to allow Dean some time to relax, Cas decided to read by himself. Well Olivia did not like that. She screamed so loud you would have thought she was being killed or something.

Another time Cas had been across the street talking to one of their neighbors. She pitched a fit then too. Finally, the couple realized that all their little girl wanted was the two of them to be there when she went to sleep. They figured out that her seeing both of them made her feel safe knowing both that they were there to protect her and that they were there so they were safe.

Eventually she grew up and outgrew her need of seeing them every night before she went to bed but all the couple sees when they look at her is their little girl wanting them to read her a bedtime story.
