-Chapter 1: Getting INVERTED-
Ghost was waiting for Lux.
"Where is he?" Ghost said. "He should've been here by now…." A rift opened up and spat out Lux as Ratchet in a commando outfit.
"What the crap was that?!" He asked.
"I sent you a Game Portal invite." Ghost answered.
"I know that! But how'd I get here?!"
"The Game Portal is a device I created that'll allow the user to go into video games. It's only compatible with PlayStation systems. The only catch is that the story of said game is altered a little bit or horribly inverted. And I got the R&C HD Collection and was able to send an invite to you even if you don't have it."
Lux looked at the ground. "Huh. Nice." He looked back up. "Anyway, what now?"
"I don't know," Ghost responded. "Watch some HV?"
"HV?" Lux asked.
"HoloVision. It's TV in Ratchet & Clank."
"Ah."
They both sat on the couch and turned the HV on. It was an episode of 'Secret Agent Ghost'. Lux was confused.
"I know you're confused. Since I'm playing as Clank, it changed the name from 'Clank', to Ghost." Ghost explained.
"Ah," Lux responded. "Wanna watch something else?"
Ghost quickly changed the channel to the news.
"This is Darla Gratch reporting live from Veldin. Just hours ago, this planet was attacked by a terrifying race known as the Tyhrranoids."
Lux and Ghost looked at each other and then back at the HV.
"—robotic scientist known as 'Dr. Nefarious', is the mastermind behind the Tyhrranoid attack. As you can see, the Galactic Rangers are putting up a valiant fight."
"Holy crap," Lux said.
"I know," Ghost responded.
"—backwater planet may be destroyed in a matter of hours. Darla Gratch, channel sixty-four news."
"We've got to save that planet," Lux said. "But how can we get there?"
Ghost looked at Lux with surprise. "Really? Dude, this is 'Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal'. They have a spaceship."
Lux stood up. "Then why are we standing around her for?! Let's do this."
And with that, they went to the ship.
