"Les Miserables"
Summary: Domino High School is having a musical play and as of now, they need people to play the main characters. Who will be who? Slight crossover between YuGiOh/LesMiserables and also slight AU. Yaoi, Puzzleshipping and shameless fluff at the end. My first YuGiOh fanfic so be nice.

Chapter 1: Monday morning, the start of it all
Yugi Mutou walked into school. It was Monday and he wasn't late or beaten up yet. Thank Re. Yami Atemu followed directly behind his hikari. For some reason there was a disappointed feeling in the hallways of Domino High School, the high school that Yugi and Yami attended. Yugi and Yami both looked at each other and decided to find out what was going on. They walked up, side by side, to the Domino High bulletin board. There, spread across six light blue papers in a horizontal rectangle formation was the bad news that they were questioning. The poster read:
LES MISERABLES

We, the student body of Domino High, are going to perform a musical play based on the book by the same title by Victor Hugo for the elderly members of the Domino City Community.
EVERYBODY MUST PARTICIPATE. This will count as your Drama Class grade and your Social Justice grade.
This week, we will cast the main roles. If you wish to sign up for a main role in this wonderful play, just sign your name with who you want to be below. You do not have to be a student at Domino High School to be in this production. We especially need an older member of the Community to take the role of Valjean.

Yugi and Yami pondered this for a moment. Would they rather be a main character of a useless extra? Yami definitely wanted to be a main. For Re's sake, he always wanted to be the center of attention – he was used to it because he used to be a pharaoh. Yugi, he wasn't too sure. He's heard about this play and saw it once when he was visiting America not too long ago. He would rather be one of the nameless students that die at the barricade and are never mentioned again.
"I am going to sign up for Marius, what about you, Aibou?" Yami asked Yugi, blocking the shorter one's train of thought. Yami dropped his bookbag on the floor right in front of him and got down on his knees to excavate a pen from it.
Yugi pulled a pen out of his pocket and signed his name under Cosette. "Have you found a pen yet?" He asked his yami. The taller boy looked up at his hikari and nodded thankfully. He reached out his left arm to receive a pen and said. "Please?"
Yugi giggled and surrendered his pen to Yami who got up and took the pen. He noticed Yugi's name on the list. "Why'd you sign up for the role?" He asked him after signing up for Marius.
Yugi shrugged. "Because, look at her description."
Yami did so and smiled slightly at it. "I see. You're very daring, Aibou," Yami told him chuckling. He ruffled Yugi's magenta, black and gold hair. "Come on, koi, let's unpack," With that, the two lovers walked over to their lockers.
