summary: The secretary walks into the office to find an unexpected scene
Helen Gandy was on her final stack of documents that Hoover had given her to look through before she was free to get home. As much as she loved her job she had to admit that it did take a lot out of her at times. As she was putting the last file away and was getting ready to lock up she heard some strange sounds coming from her boss's office She rolled her eyes as another strangled cry came from next door, sighing she got up to investigate. If her boss was doing what she thought they were doing, she was going to throw a fit. This time she remembered to knock before she walked in to avoid a repeat of the week before, upon hearing no answer she opened the door-
"I swear to god if you're doing what I think you ar-"
to find her boss on the floor? she blinked.
Hoover was lying on the floor, a chair sprawled nearby, upon hearing the door open and seeing who it was, his face reddened with embarrassment.
"Is there anything I can help you with ?"
she shook her head, face blushing from embarrassment "I heard some noises from your office sir, and thought I'd investigate to make sure everything was alright"
he turned to glare at the ceiling "nope everything is just fine and dandy, just nearly broke a chair that's all"
"boss here was attempting to do a little stretching and leaned the chair a little too far back while stretching his legs." Clyde explained trying to keep from laughing.
Hoover turned his head transferring the glare from the ceiling to the taller man. "I didn't want to but you were the one who insisted, going on about how it might make me more flexible."
This was definitely a topic that she didn't think she wanted to hear. "I'm done with the folders sir, so if there's anything else that you would like me to do before I head home.."
The boss shook his head waving the one hand dismissively"no that will be quite alright dear, you head home now and get some rest".
Nodding she quietly closed the door behind her to head back to her desk, all the while shaking her head.
Once the young woman had left Clyde slid off from his perch on the desk and knelt down over the shorter man, placing two hands on either side of him. He was close enough Hoover could see the mischievous glint in his eye. "As entertaining as that was, how about we have some real fun now?"
After gathering her coat and purse and making sure to check the desk and cabinets to insure everything was locked, she heard another thud coming from the office followed by some muffled cries. " At least they could have waited until I was out of the building" she sighed.
