Lórien's best

A handsome golden leaf of Lórien he was,
To go to battle he chose.
To fight in the name of his lady fair,
Side by side with Gondor's brave heir.
He couldn't stand the smell of the dwarf, but damn, it was for the cause!

We all couldn't help but cheer,
When we saw him in his warrior's gear.
The fact that he's a little haughty
Only made Legolas think so naughty
And wish they hadn't to be here.

The still-not-king's hug he had to cope,
While in his soul was one great hope:
To get his clever marchwarden's hands
Down the Mirkwood prince's pants,
To touch and feel and grope.

He imagined Legolas' beauty
And had trouble remembering his duty.
The Uruk-hais were near, that much he could tell,
But instead of being afraid he felt his heart dwell.
- *sigh* My princeling is such a cutie!

With a loudly beating heart in his chest
And mind not at rest,
He thought of his dear Legolas
And the picnic they wanted to have near Edoras.
- *grrr* Must concentrate on battle and do best!

The battle began and proudly he stood,
He killed many Uruk-hais because he could!
But when he was oggling Legolas' ass a beast attacked from behind with a knife
And took away Haldir's - our beloved hero's - life.
So the story has come to an end like it should and Leggy has a lonely picnic in Mirkwood.
