I own nothing, if I did we would have had Caryl a long time ago! Enjoy and please review if you like!

She stood silently, having washed the mud and walker blood from her face. She could hear Rick talking to the others. She couldn't believe that she felt afraid. Of all things, especially now after what she had just gone through to save them. How could she be afraid? "Fuck that, I'm afraid of Daryl's reaction, I know Rick told him what I did!' she thought, especially since he didn't come looking for her when she was banished.

As, she came through the trees, she saw them all. They were alive! All of them, and that was what she needed to see, regardless of what they thought about her, they were still her family. They were close enough to the cabin, that she could make it back to Ty and have him bring Judith back to Rick and Carl. First she had to see him, just to make sure he was safe. She glanced around and there they were the wings that she always looked for were right there! She could breathe again, he was okay, and she started to back away slowly.

He stood there with his head down as he listened to Rick talk about how none of those people were allowed to live, he was tired, they were lucky to have gotten out alive. They would never know where the explosion came from that helped them to escape, and all he could think of was her. He hoped wherever she was she never made it to Terminus, that thought had him beginning to feel panicked. He needed to try to look for her, he knew it was probably a lost cause but he had to know. He would let Rick and the others know that he was leaving, hopefully he would find her and then he could maybe get her to help him find Beth so that they could get her back to the group. 'What was that?'

As she was backing away, she misjudged her step and there was a low snap of a twig, she froze and looked back up- 'Good!' no one had heard she thought thankfully. Just then his head lifted and he turned quick as the prey he normally hunted. Their eyes met and the whole world stopped! He couldn't breathe, his eyes wide in surprise, then his heart started hammering like it was going to come right out of his chest- she was there, ALIVE! Immediately he took off, he just had to get to her make sure she was real. She stood there in shock as he ran toward her, when he reached her, his arms opened and he grabbed her up and lifted her off the ground squeezing her, she was crying and laughing at the same time. He couldn't, wouldn't let go, he eased back and she put her hands on his face and just nodded to him. She couldn't believe that he was crying, not that she could talk as she had tears in her own eyes, he just looked at her and leaned towards her and when his lips went to meet hers, they smacked foreheads together, then they both laughed, and he leaned in again and softly their lips met, and everything was right in the world again. He knew she was right where she belonged.
