Chapter 1 - "New"
Zoey Bratton walked down the street out of the shops with a grocery bag in her hand. It was a cold, windy sort of day and she went out to buy some food for herself and Mike. Total Drama ended a while ago, and she was okay. No more radioactive danger for her. Or any kind of danger, really.
As she turned the corner, Zoey stopped suddenly. There was a blue Police Telephone Box right in front of her. Which was strange to her, because when she left – it wasn't there. It couldn't have appeared out of the sky, somebody had probably put it there. Yes - that was probably it, Zoey thought.
Suddenly, the door seemed to have swung open. A man who looked like he was in his 30's popped out. "Hello," He spoke brightly "I'm The Doctor!" Zoey looked at him bewildered, "Doctor? Doctor Who? Also, how exactly did this box get here?"
"All in good time! Now, how would you like to go on an adventure?" The Doctor asked
"I kinda have to get home...my name is Zoey, by the way. Zoey Bratton." Zoey replied
"Lovely name, Zoey. Well then, don't you worry! Not only does the TARDIS travel through space, but it does time too. I can get you home ten minutes ago if you like! So how 'bout it?" Zoey was in thought for a while. Mostly for Mike, who she didn't want to leave alone. Mike didn't depend on her 100% of the time, but she would get worried about him, no matter how long she was away. Then it was decided. "Okay."
"Excellent," The Doctor, he snapped his fingers, and the doors to the blue box, which he called the TARDIS, opened.
"How exactly am I supposed to fit in there?" Zoey asked. Before she could speak any longer, The Doctor grabbed her hand and whisked her inside. The control room was, well, to put it in Zoey's words - the sort of thing you'd see in space movies.
"Anything you'd like to say?" He asked, she looked around, and peered back out of the door again. "It's bigger on the inside."
"I love when they say that. So... all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will - where do you want to start?"
A/N: So, fairly short chapter to kick-start things. Mike is going to be a companion at one point in this story, so yay for that. Anyway, until then – bye.
