The clouds floated in the starless night, the crescent moon set on the night sky like a crown and the cool breeze blew silently, carrying the soft scent of the night air. Luke walked down the streets of the town on his own, hand stuffed in his pockets to keep them warm and walked with his head down. The street, the town even the atmosphere of the night was the same as it had been 6 years ago when he first came here, but one thing was missing. Something so dire and important to him as though his life depended on it but it wasn't here. They weren't here. She wasn't here...

Thalia...

He missed her presence, her warmth, her sweet smile and her fiery temper. He could remember that day when they came here as though that very memory was being played in front of him.

But he shook his head trying to shake that memory away. He heaved a wrecked sigh as his chest tightened into an abyss of pain and misery. He sat on the nearest bench at swallowed and pulled his head back, closing his eyes tightly waiting for the nausea to pass.

He sat straight and stared at the crescent moon set upon the sky. The cool breeze caressed his face as he moved his head with the wind, imagining it to be Thalia's gentle 'ss when he heard it; a sweet melodious tune being played on a lyre by a girl sitting on the window ledge. She reminded him of Thalia with her beautiful short raven hair but the similarities ended there. His Thalia had electric blue eyes that were outlined with thick black eyeliner while this girl had green orbs and Thalia would never wear a dress much less a night gown!

But her music made him nostalgic. All his pain washed away and the knots in his heart losened. Luke sat there listening to the harmonious melody filling him with the desire of seeing a new day with no worries about war and bloodshed, with evil and death but a home, a safe heaven where he would live happily with his Thalia and Annabeth. Justs the three of them together like how once Annabeth teased them for acting like a married couple and how Thalia's cheeks flushed as Luke laughed with his own coloured cheek.

Every tune brought happy memories, wave after wave of memories made him nostalgic. It made him homesick.

How much Luke desired to turn the keys of time and return to the timewhen he was on the run with his two girls.

He even wished to see his mother one last time, who tried her hardest to make him happy but he was never a very loving son and left his mother heart broken.

He wanted to return to his life. To see his mother.

To see his littlAnnabeth.

To see his first kiss...

Thalia...
