The Pain of a Villain
By Healer Kira
WHY WHY WHY !
A gloved fist smashed against a stone wall as narrowed silver eyes glinted in fury.
Why-how could this have happened? He'd had one mission: destroy those weakling heroes and stop them from obtaining the pure heart- And he had failed! This was impossible- he was perfect, molded by the careful eye of the count; he shouldn't have been defeated so easily, and yet, he had! That idiotic, red-clothed man, spoiled princess, and overgrown lizard had overcome and conquered him- all without breaking a sweat!
His fist pounded against the wall again, and he screamed in rage before hitting the wall again, then, again, showing no sign of stopping.
Mr. L was in his personal quarters at Castle Bleck; he had just returned from his latest assignment, of defeating the heroes in the Whoa Zone. The mission which he had thought to be so easy, with his powers, as well as Bro-Bot. But yet, his mission was not as easy had he had thought it to be….
A sharp crack was heard, and the masked man hissed pulling his hand close to his chest. Suddenly he froze. Count Bleck…
Mr. L collapsed against the wall and slid to the floor.
What would the count think? His creation, such a failure, to not even be able to defeat three lousy heroes… how would he be able to face the count again?
A thought came to him abruptly, and a chill seemed to settle over his body.
He still hadn't filed his missions report; when he had arrived, he had gone straight to his rooms, not bothering to speak to any one… oh, how would he bear to even look at his count, knowing that he had failed him…
Mr. L felt a sudden rise of resistance, of determination, and he wiped away the tears that had mysteriously appeared in his eyes.
No… what was he doing? He couldn't just give up like this! He had to get stronger; that was the only way to please his count and defeat those meddlesome heroes! He had to train, work until he was powerful enough!
He jumped up swiftly and dashed to his personal bath, rummaging around in the medical cupboard until he found a roll of bandages.
Yes, he had to train, and train, until he was perfect once more… no more of slacking would he do, he had to become strong, as mighty as the gods, so he may defeat the enemies of the count…
Quickly dressing his broken hand in the bandages, Mr. L stormed from his quarters.
First he would report to the count.
Then he would begin his training.
His silver eyes narrowed, and a smirk graced his lips.
They would regret ever crossing The Green Thunder.
This was an idea that came to me out of nowhere, and I had to rush and get it all out. Sorry for the shortness.
I think I may have read a story a while back similar to this, and I don't want to be guilty of plagiarism, so if there is a story related to this, I did not copy. This story is completely my own.
So review with any tips you may have on improving my writing, or if you know of the story, or if you have some good Mario and Luigi stories I might want to read. All reviews (even flamers, whatever those are),are welcome.
