Actually, I've had soooooo many fic ideas, I didnt know which to put up first. And this one hit me..I don't know when or how but it did and I want to do this one.

Chapter 1: Scattered Puzzle Pieces

Vapor, from a hot bath, lingered in the air, clinging to the mirror and all that stood in its way. A figure nestled into the warmth of the bath's water, a sigh emitting from her chest. Everything was calm and quiet in Raven's life at the moment, and had been for a few months. All her friends-save Kori and Richard- still hung out and saw each other regularly, even after 10 years. Kori left for Tamaran a few years back, hoping to revisit some relatives. As for Richard.. She wasn't sure. And neither were the others..

At 24, Raven had a normal life; not one of a super hero. She was a spy (a normal worker), and was free to do as she pleased. Though there were times a villain would be lurking.. But at the moment, all those troubles were washed away in the water, her mind focusing on other things.

The window from across the room was open, exposing a night sky, a soft breeze blowing in and ruffling the ebony, satin curtains. Being on the highest floor of a Hotel, the Dark Witch was unafraid of prying eyes and welcomed the bright moon's rays onto the floor. But when they flickered a moment, her frame stretched upwards a bit, eyes wandering from the ceiling to the open source. They laid there for a moment, "Odd..", then diverted towards the sky. Not a cloud present.

Highest floor.

Clear sky.

Didn't seem right.

With an annoyed grunt, she lifted herself from the bath, hovering over to close the window. As she reached for the lock, a hand from behind cuffed her own in a metal material, blindfold going into place just after that. Someone or something made the rays flicker, she realized. Whoever it was, had her caught.

Her powers struggled for their freedom, the bands on her arms blocking them. Her eyes shifted back and forth in a desperate attempt to see whoever it was that had her- blindfold stopped that too. She felt herself being hoisted into the other room, then something covered her nose and mouth. When it did, her world went black..

Eh, that was just a teaser to the start of my fic..The next chapter will be the real fic . But at the moment, as I said, my brain is dead so it was kind of quick and choppy..thats why it's a teaser. And a beginner I suppose.. ::dances stupidly::. Everything will be in the next chapter and it will have more description, length, explanations, and other big words!
