Prelude
The village was burning. Black smoke swirled up into the sky, and above the smoke the Union Rider watched the damage he and his dragon had created not moments before with an evil glint in his eye.
"Wynn!" I heard Mama scream. I knew she would have Lidia, my five year old sister in her hands. I covered my eyes with my hands to stop the burning for a few moments. All around me people were dieing. I grabbed the reigns of my Petit Dragon and made my way to our family's tent… but it was to late. It had caved in, still burning. No one could have made it out alive. There was a screech from the Union Rider's black dragon and they took off to the east, leaving us to our fate………
YamiYugiMot0: right… note this is the PRELUDE! This is the only reason this "chapter" is so short. For future reference…. Chapter one is also pretty short, but not to worry… the other chapters will be longer…promise!
