An Ada - To a Dad

Edhil glirir uin bŷr,
pin hael a chairdh chwinyl dagor,
ú-'lirithar o thû pem-maeth
Ladrengil thavron ngolodhren
ladrenn elin, boe hon hannad.
Ú-vaethant ne ndegyr velig,
ú-bêd i danc gyth moeg dhelib,
e agor gardh i callonath
o nairn a glîr ú-agorer;
E toll mar am mess în ar iôn în.

Elves sing of the steadfast,
of wise, of fantastic battle deeds,
but none of the bravery never tested in battle.
Ladrengil, a Noldorin carpenter,
valley of stars, deserves thanks.
He never fought in great battles,
nor can he claim to have slain terrifying, cruel foes,
he has done something that great heroes
of legend and song have not;
he came home to his son and wife.

Reconstructions:

Golodhren-I used the word for a Noldo – golodh – and the adjective suffix –ren to make this word.
Ladrengil-A name. It means "Valley of Stars". (ladrenn+gîl) Valley, in this case, means a circular valley without a mountain pass to travel through. I made it from "lad" and "renn".
