Kari: Ha! Another kinda sappy fic.

Disclaimer: Oh c'mon you're intelligent. If I really owned Naruto, Do you think I'd be sittin' here writing this?

Naruto hissed under his breath, unzipping his jacket before tugging it over his head. The cold rain assaulted the tender skin of his tanned hands as he did.

"Damnit, I knew I should have stayed, When Iruka-Sensei suggested it.." He whined, mentally kicking himself.

Sasuke had insulted him again,(What else is new?). Though, he couldn't quite remember what he saud. Whatever it was it had hurt him in more than one way it seemed. It stung to think about what he might've actually said.

Naruto stopped walking and sat down against the trunk of a tree. Needless to say, it didn't block out much of the rain. He pulled his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around them. He tucked his head, causing the jacket to completely cover his thin form. The rain pelted against the dark fabric of his t-shirt soaking through. Thunder cracked against the sky, causing Naruto to wince inwardly.

Usually he would just shake it off as nothing (Which it usually was) but this time something snapped. The words had obviously sturck a dangerous nerve. Naruto's words had turned to ice by the time he had gathered the nerve to tell Sasuke that he hated him. He could tell by the stunned look on the other boys face that Sasuke believed him. Which was what he though he wanted.

After a few moments, Naruto found himself gazing upward, the chill moisture from the sky ceasing. Deep sapphire met shallow obsidian. Sasuke stood there in front of him, his left hand placed firmly o his hip, the other graspin the wooden handle of a magenta-shaded parasol with blue flowers on it. The ever popular scowl on his face half-hearted.

"Moron." He muttered, sticking out his hand. Naruto glared turning his head to the side. Sasuke's brows narrowed. Sighing, Naruto grased the raven's hand, and pulled himself to his feet.

"Why'd you come after me?" Naruto questioned, brushing himself off.

"I was worried.." Sasuke offered sourly. Naruto grinned foxily. Sasuke caught wind and added. "Tell anyone, and I'll deny it to my dying day..." Naruto face-faultered.

"Oh C'mon!" Naruto groaned. Sasuke smirked, turning on his heel, and walked off. "Oi! Teme!" Naruto shouted at Sasuke's back, running up to him, to sneak under Sasuke's parasol, out of the rain. Wrapping an arm around Sasuke's he leaned against the raven's shoulder.

"I'm..." Sasuke stopped walking. "Sorry about what I said.." Sasuke muttered, scratching the bridge of his nose. Naruto blinked looking up at him.

"What was that again?" Naruto asked. Sasuke raised a brow.

"You seriously don't remember..?"

"Yeah.."

"What I said was, 'I wish I'd never come back'. I didn't mean it though, You know that right?"

"Yeah..I know" Naruto nodded, grinning.

"Then why'd you run off?" Sasuke questioned, staring at him. Naruto pulled back with a grin.

"Oh c'mon now, You should know by now I'm a bit slow..."

Don't ask why it's a parasol. It seemed cool, and an umbrella seemed out of place. oO
