Demyx rushed into the kitchen and ignoring the odd stares ducked under the sink, squeezing himself in the little cabinet.
"If any one asks I'm not here!" He said shutting the cabinet door.
"Will knowing him we probably don't want to be here." Zexion said closing his book and heading out of the spacious kitchen, Marluxia following close at his heels. Thinking of all the potential dangers to his health, such as an angry Larxene, Saix, or Axel, yeah staying in the kitchen with a hanged man was not a good idea.
As the two left Namine entered the room whispering Demyx's name. She had just come from one of many bathrooms looking for the Melodious Nocturne. Then a thought accord to her if he was here there was one way to draw him out. Swiftly she walked over the fridge and opened it.
"Oh, my, that's strange usually there's never any sea salt ice-cream left." She said smiling, taking one out and began enjoying the icy treat. "Mmm… if only Dem were here then we could both have an ice cream party." From inside the cupboard Demyx stared at Namine through the crack. He couldn't come out now, but oh it looked so good.
Slowly Namine went and opened the other cabinets. "Hmm… let's see here marshmallows, kit kats, pocky." Namine took the red box out and read the label. "Hmm… Poperti of Demyx Kep Off. Oh Demy you need to work on your spelling, but I'm sure he won't mind if I have some." As she began eating it took all of Demyx's willpower to stay in his hiding spot.
Then as she finished of his pocky she began inching towards the Lucky Charms. Saying "I guess's he's not here…Will might as will have some Lucky Charms since I'm here." That was it he couldn't take it any more he quickly jumped out from his hiding spot.
"You stole me Lucky Charms!" He shrieked grabbing for the box. She let him have it smiling victoriously.
"I had a feeling you'd hide in the kitchen! I win it's your turn." She smiled spinning on her heals. "No peeking and if you do I'll make you think you're an octopus." Silently Demyx began counting with his eyes closed. Namine was definitely a pro at this game but then again hiding in the same couple of rooms when you had hundreds to choose from probably didn't help his chances.
Meanwhile Namine was happily making her way back towards the kitchen Demyx would never think to look in the cupboard. But that was Dem for you.
"Three…Two…one Ready or not here I come!" He called heading out the other door of the kitchen. While Namine took the box of Lucky Charms under the sink, it would be awhile before he gave up.
Just a fun short story for your amusement. If any one wants to know Demyx never found Namine she just came out on her own accourd.
