As Casey stormed into her office she couldn't help but feel the anger boiling inside her. That bitch, trying to steal the woman she worked so hard to get.
Alex ran in behind her, coffee in hand
"Case. Come on, talk to me.."
"Alex, just leave. We'll talk later"
"No we wont" Alex sighed shutting the door "Casey, why were you so jealous? The girl was just being nice to me"
"Yeah, looking down your shirt, nice" Casey mumbled and Alex sat opposite her girlfriend.
"Case, we're together over a year now. Baby you honesty have no reason to be jealous. I love you Casey, not that random waitress, you, ADA Casey Novak, beautiful, wonderful, intelligent, amazing you. Please don't feel envious when other women talk to me, flirt with me even. I'm focused on you, Casey. You're in my heart. Thats all I need"
Casey blinks away the tears in her eyes as she walks over to her girlfriend, hugging her
"I'm sorry I got jealous"
"Case. I know you are but what made you so jealous? I was completely blowing her off, I even held your hand the whole way through my conversation with her.. What made you so angry?"
Casey sighed as she sat into Alex's lap
"I-I was looking at you talking to her and you just... I don't know, Alex. I'm just scared okay?"
Alex ran her hand up Casey's side
"Of?"
"You.. leaving. When you realise you can do better than me"
"Case.. Why didn't you ever mention any of this? Baby, I would've talked to you sooner if I knew this was how you felt. You could never loose me. Casey, no matter what you do or where you go, I will be right beside you, either literally or in spirit. I'm in love with you. You. And I don't want you thinking that by being with you I'm settling. Casey, you are out of my league if anything. Every morning I thank God I'm sharing a bed with you and not anybody else. You, Casey I'm in love with you. Please don't doubt that"
Casey is now lightly sobbing into her girlfriends black blazer
Alex rubs broad circles on her back
"Its alright Casey. Don't cry honey. I'm here. I'm here" the blonde soothes, holding the woman as close as possible
Casey composes herself, still wrapped in Alex's arms
"I'm sorry" she mumbles
"Don't be. Really. I want you talk about things like this Casey. Just like I'd talk to you if I had a problem. Thats why we have each other, to help when we need it"
"Thank you Alex. So much. I really feel a lot better now." she smiles at the blonde "Do you want to go for dinner tonight?" Casey asks kissing Alex's neck
"Mmmm.. I think I'd prefer a night in Case"
Casey smiled "I thought you'd say that. Now go back to work or we will never get home"
"Remember what I said Casey. You. I love you"
Casey smiles as Alex stands off the couch
