Decided to delete my original story A Secret Past so that I could redo it all over again because I felt I missed some things which would of made each chapter more interesting.
Chapter 1
It was the evening of November 21st and it was a cold snowy night.
Amelia was asleep in her bed when suddenly she got woken up by a loud noise, Amelia was scared so she did was she always did when she was scared, she went into her parents bedroom. As she was getting closer she could hear what sounded like a scuffle. She slowly opened the door to her parents room and the last thing she remembered was the bodies of both her parents.
Amelia woke up, sweating and struggling to breath, for almost 20 years she had been haunted by that nightmare but it wasn't a nightmare at all it was a memory except that wasn't a full memory. For some reason Amelia blocked out the moment she saw her parents getting murdered and also the murderer himself.
She would keep reliving this memory every now and then but these last few weeks they had become more frequent because in the morning she was due to start a new career. She was going to be apart of the Behaviour Analysis Unit in Quantico. She had just graduated and a family friend had recommended her for a Special Agent post.
Derek Morgan was now the FBI BAU Unit Chief ever since Aaron Hotcher had decided to retire so that he could spend more time with his son Jack after the death of his ex-wife Hayley at the hands of George Foyet. Derek had decided to have a new agent join the team because he didn't like his team being one down and because he felt the team could use a fresh set of eyes. It didn't take him long to find someone as Erin Strauss recommended someone for his team, according to her
"This new agent would be a great asset and had been highly recommended."
And today was the day the new agent would be start. That new agent being Amelia Wynters.
She was told she had to report straight to The Unit Chiefs office, Derek Morgan.
Amelia had been waiting in his office for a good twenty minutes before Derek arrived.
"Ah, you must be Amelia Wynters? Sorry for keeping you waiting. We just got a major case, so would you like to come and meet the rest of the team."
