Ash and Dawn had been dating for many years now, and Ash decided to finally propose to her, and SOON. He had never felt such love before. He wanted to make this proposal special... but how? He went to his friend Brock for help.
"Well, when I proposed to Nurse Joy a few years back," Brock said "I had proposed to her with something she loved to do. For example, I made it seem like my Pokemon, Croagunk, was sick, but he actually had the ring so I lied him there on the bed on his face and when Nurse Joy turned him over, there was the ring, right there for me to propose."
"Gotcha, so I gotta propose with something she loves!" Ash said. "Hmm... I got it! Pokemon contests! In a few weeks, she's gonna be in a contest in Crown City. I'll wait in the stands, and when she goes onstage, I'll propose!"
"Well, how are you gonna do it?" Brock asked.
"Well, first..." Ash then told Brock about his plan.
"Wow, good idea!" Brock said. "You want me to help you find a ring?"
"Sure!" Ash said.
They picked out a beautiful diamond ring. "Wow, she's gonna love this!" Ash exclaimed as he gazed at the ring.
At Johanna's house, Ash was visiting Dawn. They were watching TV when a Pokemon contest commercial came on.
"Oh, I can't wait to be in that contest! I just know I'll win! You're gonna be there for me, right Ash?"
Ash smirked, knowing he'd propose to her there, and said "I'll definitely be there."
