Author's Note: This is a preview to an upcoming story of mine. Its a romance/ general story. I invented a new character for this story, its a female character. Some quotes and scenes are from the original series, with my own twist. Be sure to review. Parings include Tema/Shika, and Naru/Hina are two definite pairings. He sat there, about 5 feet away from me. For some reason I longed for his closeness. Why? He was just a dear friend, nothing more. Right? Could it me that I had really… Fallen… for ___ ? No impossible

I had no idea for how long I sat there debating the subject.

"Ah!" my own screech rang in my ears. A bird fluttered in the trees above. "I must've been pretty deep in thought for something like that to scare me." I turned to ___.

"Quite tryin to scare me dipshit!" I kinda regretted yelling at him, but then again he deserved it if he did in fact try to scare the crap outa me. I gave an arrogant sweep of my long black hair to top it off. I looked away as I curled my knees into my chest. I turned my head slightly, hoping he wouldn't notice. I peered out of the corner of my eyes only to find him flipping through that stupid book. Naruto, who I just noticed had taken a seat beside me, rolled his eyes. I turned to look at ___ just as he got up. I stood up at ironically the same time.

"im going for a walk. By myself." I walked past the stunned shinobi. I thought I saw a look of disappointment as he went back to his spot and plopped on the ground. I had no idea where I was going. "just to think. Yea. Think about why the hell I couldn't get my long-time friend out of my mind!" I mentally kicked myself for running away from my problems. "I'm a shinobi for crying out loud! Ugh. Damn it all! Why is something like this even troubling me?!" I let out an impossibly long sigh, relaxing myself just in time to be startled once again. Naruto was screaming something, no doubt at ___. I couldn't make it out really. I did seem to catch a 'What the hell' from him. I sighed again. "I have been walking for quite a while, and this would give me a chance to return without awkwardness."

I was still a good ways from the campsite when I spotted the orange clad ninja walking towards me. He was muttering something to himself.

"Would you mind explaining to me why you tried to kill me with that screaming of yours?" I asked with a hint of sarcasm.

"oh yea why don't you ask him for yourself. He's the one giving out heart attack's if you ask me." to my surprise Naruto kept walking past me. I didn't say anything. I figured I wouldn't since he seemed pretty freaked out.

"im going look for Sakura. Hanging around with him is to dangerous." I smiled. Gosh I wonder what happened to make him so freaked out. I continued walking toward the direction of the camp.
