The New Person
Chapter: 1 New Person
I stepped out the cab and breathed in the new air. Kapp'n waved and off went the car. I looked up to see a huge clock. It was 5:00 in the afternoon. I walked into what I assumed was the town hall. Up to this pelican who I assumed might be nice to a newcomer. "Welcome to town hall. Who might you be?" I looked around and replied "I just moved in" "Oh you just moved in! This is where your house is. Do you know how to open it?" I nodded. "Ok. Off you go." I walked out scared to meet the people.
Your probably wondering who I am. My name is Marbles. I got brown hair in 3 ponytails. One on the top and 2 on the sides. My mint graham checkered shirt is my favorite along with my new red shoes. I have always been in the city but I never liked it. I finally came to Nintentown. A nice town on the side. So, I decided to move in. Now I'm walking around the apple trees stopping to take peeks at the map when I hear a voice behind me. "You lost?"
I whizzed around, blushing, finding a blue pig. "Hi, I'm Hugh. You must be that new human girl that just moved here." I nodded, "Yup that's me. Can you help me find my house?" "Sure!" I handed Hugh my map. He looked at it for a sec then looked up and pointed. "It's just over there". There enough was my house in the distance. "Thanks" I said gawking at my own stupidity. "Whelp see you around then." Hugh walked away. I walked to my house, a small house with a purple roof. Trust me I didn't choose that color.
I walked in not expecting what I saw. All I saw was a cardboard box, a candle and, a tape deck. I looked at the emptiness. I almost cried. Saddened, I went back outside to be greeted by a weird looking animal that looked like a raccoon. He told me he was Tom Nook and that he owns the store and built my house. It was going to cost me $19,000 and that I could work some of it off at his store. Oh yeah, like I wanted to do work but I guess I had no choice. I agreed and Tom scuttled away. Oh great my first day and I already had work. But I got a new friend .
