Oh my god, Clare says she needs space? What does space mean? I think as I'm driving my car quickly through the city. What could she possibly need space for? Oh speak of the devil. I answer my phone. "Eli where are you?" "Why are you calling me you need space I'm giving it to you." "No Eli we just needed time apart." "Time apart, Time apart from what!" "I just needed time for myself Eli." "But I thought you said you'll never leave me but I guess I was wrong" "Eli I'm not leaving you" I am trying to answer but it's like my voice has disappeared into thin air. Then everything starts going blurry and I am dosing off on to the steering wheel. The car starts swerving on the road. "Eli Eli are you there?"
Two Weeks before...
Eli's ~P.O.V.~
"Degrassi's Annual Sweethearts dance is just two weeks away so don't forget to get a carnation for that special someone. Oh yeah let's not forget there is a dress code and there will be at least four chaperons." I hear from the morning announcements. "Clare we should go together it could be fun." I say to Clare grabbing her hand. "Yeah a dress code and chaperone's ooo the joy" She says sarcastically. "I'm serious it really could be fun and at least we'll be together." I say smiling. "Okay I have to go to class" Clare says walking away. "Why don't we skip class and grab a coffee at the Dot?" "I don't think so I really have to go to class." She says turning around. "Is class more important than us?" "No I'm not saying that why are you getting so worked up about this?" She says almost yelling at me. "Because I want to spend some alone time with my girlfriend is that too much to ask?" "Eli I'll talk to you later okay when you are calmer." "So now I'm not calm because I want to spend time with my girlfriend?" "Goodbye Eli." She says walking away.
I don't know what just came over me I never would have gotten angry at Clare like that before why now?
