AN: Dedicated to Anessa (actual Fanfiction dot net penname) for having me on her favorites list.
"Harry?"
"Hm?"
"Are you worried about the future?"
"What do you mean?"
"One day, you and I are going to have to go up against each other. We won't be able to hold each other like this without some sort of consequence. Are you worried about that?"
The black-haired boy shifted as he kissed the top of Draco's head.
"Of course I am." He replied.
"One day, we may not be able to say "I love you" to each other anymore either." The blonde continued, testing Harry's love for him.
"One day, we may not be able to kiss each other."
"One day, we may not be able to even touch each other."
"Or speak."
"Not, at least, without threats and curses."
Harry smiled at his lover's worries, and squeezed him reassuringly to cut off his talk.
"There's always the day after."
And as the sun rose, painting Hogwarts with millions of brilliantly beautiful colors, Draco couldn't help thinking he was right.
Have you ever thought about the day after?
AN: Yeah, I've decided that in order to pay back those who actually liked the fics that I deleted, I'm writing little oneshots for those who have me on their favorites and/or alerts list.
