Not Just Another Night at the Office

Dean moved cautiously through the cemetery, circling around the Halloween crime scene. Idiotic fratboys had partied in the graveyard, angering one spirit with predictable results: two dead college kids.
A day's research netted the name and location of the right gravestone. Dean crept in after midnight, found the sweet spot and started digging. Finished, he bent over the casket, pried it open, then returned to higher ground. Watchful for spirit activity, he poured salt and gasoline over the remains and torched them.

He hunted alone tonight. Sam was at Stanford, Dad was buried in a bottle somewhere.
