it was like magic
to breathe her in,
to step closer,

She took a deep breath,
lost within the hold of soft arms,

in a nearly gentle embrace
Her mind floated away
within the confines
of passion

about what would happen if anyone saw them
or anything really other than the impulse

She felt disappointment curdle
once Sucy pulled away
and only opened her eyes when she realized
that the other witch wasn't going to kiss her again right away

and wondered briefly if Sucy would mind
if she dove in to claim a kiss for herself
Akko smiled when she finally,
finally saw that glint in Sucy's eyes
and pulled herself against her arms
to feel the embrace tighten
