Percy and Annabeth are just walking down the streets of New York when this nine year-old kid comes up to them and yells, "ARE YOU PERCY JACKSON?"

Percy just stares, until Annabeth shoves him with her elbow.

"Uh, yes," says Percy, wincing.

"AND IS THAT YOUR GIRLFRIEND?" the boy yells again, pointing to Annabeth. "Um..." says Annabeth, 'cause for the first time, she didn't have a clue on how to respond.

"THEN SIGN MY BOOK!" the kid yells, and he thrusts "The Lightning Thief" at Percy. "SIGN WITH RIPTIDE!" he yells again, then stomps his foot impatiently.

"Who are you?" Percy says suspiciously, then gasps in astonishment when he looks at the cover of the book. "IS THAT ME?"

He quickly starts flipping through the pages, then turns bright red when there's a part about Annabeth.

Annabeth, an eyebrow up in the air from a curiosity, snatches the book from Percy's hands and starts pouring over the pages. "Aww, Seaweed Brain. You thought I was a princess?" she smiles.

"KID! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Percy yells, but the kid just starts laughing, as if he didn't have a care in the world.

"Come on, Seaweed Brain, sign the book." says Annabeth, her grey eyes twinkling with humor.

Percy uncaps Riptide, and then sloppily signs the book with gold ink all over the page. "Here, kid," he grumbles.

"Annabeth," whispers Percy, "We have to talk to the camp counselor."

Later . . .

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Percy yells, slamming the book down on the table at Camp-Half-Blood. "Sorry," The camp counselor shrugs. "I had to make a living." "Wow, Rick," says Percy. Rick just shrugs. "But you guys are famous."

I had this site recommended to me by a friend, and it's so fun! And, um, like don't kill me 'cause I just joined Fanfiction yesterday, so . . . that's about it.
