Title: Sparks
Summary: Elle Bishop, a collection of drabbles.
Rating: T for mature, but clean, content.
A/N: In a drabbly mood, and Elle's a fun character to write for. Put 2 and 2 together, and there you have it — this little collection of drabbles.
Jealousy
Her father loves everyone more than her. She can never do anything right, she can never do enough for him, and it drives her absolutely insane. She does everything to get his attention, but he's always too bust.
She's too good for other people, but she finally has to admit to herself that she's jealous… of everyone. Everyone else has managed to receive his praise at one point, but never once does he say: "I'm proud of you, Elle, you're a wonderful daughter." No, he chooses to avoid that sentence.
Maybe it's the desperate crying for attention that distracts her from what she should be doing; therefore, she messes up, and is forced to take his wrath. It's never Noah's fault if a plan goes wrong. No, it's always hers.
She has so much jealousy built up that she is barely even human anymore. She allows the emotion to consume her, never once looking ahead at the consequences.
That's why she's so screwed up. She hasn't given herself a chance, because she has come to assume the jealousy will ruin everything. In the end, she just gives up completely because she's learned it's no use trying to impress her father. He'll never care.
